Hackers/Crackers can make a lot of money selling information.
Plus I'm sure a lot of these guys/girls (after they get arrested) will be given opportunities to work in IT security for big companies.

so basically lulzsec aren't real hackers, apparently they are script kiddies. They use pre-made hacking tools from the real hackers. Which anyone can find if they follow that scene.
