It's funny to look at this thread as compared to the Lunarglide 3 thread. I think both new designs suck, yet those over in LG3 love it, while all of you here are smart and realize that the Nike running line is being homogenized with mesh overlays and yellow plastic pieces.

I still prefer the "classic" running shoes, Pegasus, Moto, Vomero.

The Lunarphase will fade.

While I agree 100% that Nike Running's offering have become too similar this year, as a stand alone shoe, I love the LE2 much more than the 1. 
If only we could get some original colorways in exceptional colorblockings... C'mon Nike!

While I agree 100% that Nike Running's offering have become too similar this year, as a stand alone shoe, I love the LE2 much more than the 1.

I might be one of the few who likes the looks of the 2 better.  I wonder if the support got any better?  Even though the lunar eclipse is the replacement for the Equalon series, I still think the support in the Equalon 4s was better then the first lunar eclipse.  I wonder if the support in the 2s will be any better?  I wish Nike would go back to having more basic colorways available like white/(insert any other color here).  What's with all of the grey on everything lately?  The colorways on their Zoom Structure Triax series have sucked too.

Can't come soon enough...I need a new pair of stability shoes!  I Don't care for the looks of the LunarEclipse 1, so I might have to buy another pair of the equalon 4's for running in the meantime.

Another shoe to check out if you need some stability are the new Adidas Supernova Sequence 4. Amazing shoe that will probably get slept on. I think they're better than anything Nike has out in the stability department right now and that's saying a lot since I usually look for any reason to favor a Nike shoe over anything else.

Strongly disagree with this. The comfort level for these whethter people agree with the aesthetics or not will still drive sales. Nike running made leaps and bounds of improvement since this line has dropped. I know ill stay buying these as long as they are available, if not for anything but the comfort and price.
