mac mini 2012? Anyone know when?

Are they skipping a release this year i was looking to invest in one but i dont want the 2011 it doenst have an optical drive im hoping they make the new model with one

a lot of people where upset apple dropped the drive

and if their is a thread already sorry

im upset that i purchased a mac mini period im also upset you didnt look for the official mac thread

usb optical drive is less than $20 and optical drives aren't going back, so if that's your dealbreaker, might as well give up on the next gen
