Macbook Pro 2011 Question

My girlfriend has a late 2011 macbook pro 13 inch model and some of the keys have stopped working. The D-L keys are not working and I've tried some of the fixes through the keyboard & trackpad settings I've seen on YouTube but they are still not working. I don't know if there is another settings option that might fix this issue or if she just needs a new keyboard? Do any of you have any suggestions? Any help is appreciated.

You reset the pram or smc? likely a hardware issue though.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know what pram or smc stand for I don't own or work on a macs, I'm just going by what I read on YouTube and google. How do I reset them?

Just did, I tried it and that didn't work either. Thanks for the suggestion though.
