Macbook vs. Macbook Pro?

Because I was wondering was it worth it to buy a "suped up" Macbook or just get the base Macbook Pro for around the same price?

well if you do any time of post production, photo editing, music production.....ETC then go with a MBP.
but if you're just a student who just plans on using it for chatting, typing up papers, and porn then you should just go with a simple mac book to savemoney

macbook pro is a million times better than a macbook. The base one stomps on any macbook even if you throw like 4 gigs of ram in it. The dedicated graphicscard does a lot for it. Wait on new mbp though. Oh and the screen on the mbp compared to macbook is night and day

What my brudder said. Also another thing to take into consideration is portability. The MBP is heavier than the MB. That's the main reason why I gotthe MB over the Pro, as silly as it sounds. I use mine for audio editing/engineering and it's not my only computer. So if it would be your only computerand your runnin' heavy applications then imo go with the Pro. If not, the MacBook is still excellent and better than anything else that isn'tmanufactured by Apple, lol.
