He's in the chat primarily.

COME ONE, COME ALL AS YOUR NFC-LEADING CAROLINA PANTHERS TAKE ON THE BUCS IN MRSA BAY!!!

WELCOME BACK TO THE GAUNTLET, BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE GOOD FOLKS AT NIKETALK, IN CONJUNCTION WITH #5WIDE ENTERTAINMENT!!! :pimp: :pimp: :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

Public Service Announcement to ALL contenders: DON'T TAKE THESE SUB .500 TEAMS LIGHTLY!!! However, this message may have been needed for a couple of competitors in last week's edition, because we saw several upsets around the league, && a number of blowout victories as well!!!

Let's start in...DETROIT!!! :wow: :wow:

The Lions live!!! It seems as though Detroit, every so often, provides us with a huge upset in their annual Thanksgiving Day game, && we were on hand for yet another one when the NFCN leading Bears came to town!! Heavily favored entering the contest, Chicago was trying to keep pace with the rest of the NFC for a possible 1st round bye in the playoffs, while looking to fend off the Packers && suddenly lurking Vikings in the North!!

But Peyton Manning && Megatron had other ideas!!! :wow:

#18 threw for 422 yards on 26-33 thru the air, && Calvin Johnson terrorized the Bears' secondary to the tune of 216 yards with a score, as the Lions forced a fumble late, && SHOCKED Jay Cutler, Matt Forte, && the rest of the Bears, 30-24!!! The Detroit fans have been thru a rough season, but their fans were delighted on this day, as Ford Field was deafening from kickoff to the final whistle!!! :smokin :smokin :smokin Chicago, meanwhile, fell to 7-4, && back into a tie in their division with...

The Green Bay Packers!!! WHOA, WHERE DID THIS 50 POINT EXPLOSION COME FROM????? The Pack jumped out to a 16-0 first quarter advantage, forced Oakland to turn to a kicker at the QB position :smile:lol ), && dominated all afternoon as they took the Raiders to the woodshed located approximately 44 paces behind Lambeau Field, && handed out a 50-7 obliteration!!! :wow: :wow: :wow:

The Eddie Lacy MVP form of 2014 was found in abundance, as he steamrolled his way to 180 yards && 4 TDs, making Fantasy owners plenty happy once more!! Aaron Rodgers had an easy day of work, throwing for 202 yards && a pair of scores, as the Raiders took an extremely long flight back home in preparation of their next game, versus the Vikings!!! Green Bay && Chicago are now tied atop the NFCN at 7-4...:pimp: :pimp:

DID YALL SEE ON THE NEWS..."ENTIRE FOOTBALL TEAM TRAMPLED BY FEDEX TRUCK"?!?!?!?!? THE DRIVERS RESPONSIBLE: THE WASHINGTON ROJOSKINS!!!

After falling behind at home 13-0 to the New Orleans Saints, who were looking to not lose ground to the Panthers in the NFCS, the Skins went absolutely berserk over the final three quarters, including a 31 point second quarter, en route to a 48-21 annihilation of the Saints!!! Washington, in a division hunt themselves which currently has them one game back of NFCE frontrunner Dallas, played like men possessed as Robert Griffin III threw for 301 yards, with 3 TDs && no INTs!!! Furthermore, the tenacious Skins defense bed the Drew Brees-less Saints to just 229 yards of offense, && picked interim New Orleans QB Case Keenum three times, && even knocked him out of the game at one point!!! Can Denzel Atkins, Desean Jackson (who each had over 100 yards along with a TD reception), && the rest of Waahington's offense keep the points coming next week, in a HUGE matchup next week against the Cowboys??? Can the Saints hold on to that final WC spot in the NFC moving forward?? :smokin :smokin :smokin

The Who Dat Nation will have to hold off the now-healthy Rams in all likelihood down the stretch!!! Terelle Pryor made his return from a groin injury for the Sunday Night lights && the Gauntlet GOTW spotlight as the Rams met the Cardinals in a crucial battle of 6-4 NFCW rivals!!! Things started off nicely for Arizona, as Andre Ellington broke a long TD run early in, but the Mixtape Mob responded in like fashion, with Tre Mason cashing the Cards defense time && again for 125 yards on the ground!! The aforementioned Pryor was gradually eased back into the gameplan, throwing for just 105 yards but connecting on 2 TD passes, as well as adding 58 yards on the ground!!! Brandon Spikes' late INT of Carson Palmer proved to be the nail in the coffin, as the Rams improved to 7-4!!! :nthat: :nthat: They now go back home next week to welcome...

The Seattle Seahawks, who survived a real challenge from the AFCN leading Ravens!!! Like Washington, the LOB fell behind early, 13-0, but responded well, scoring 13 points of their own to nod things up entering the 4th quarter!!! When the fumblefest dust settled, it was Seattle, particularly Richard Sherman, who closed the door late, clamoring for coach Pete Carroll to allow him to shadow WR Torrey Smith, stifling Baltimore's final drive!!! Seattle, with their 30-20 win, kept their one game lead in the NFCW intact, as well as their hold on the 2nd seed in the NFC!!! :pimp: :pimp: For Colin Kaepernick's crew, a silver lining was on the horizon...

Because the struggling Steelers continue to lose the games that they won just one short year ago!!! After losing a home heartbreaker (plus the division lead) to Baltimore, Pittsburgh surrendered a 24-7 lead in front of their home crowd, && the game itself, to the 49ers, 27-24!!!

The game seemed to turn on the last play of the first half, when Steelers coach Mike Tomlin elected to try for the TD instead of the gimme FG from inside the Niners' 5 yard line. Jacobie Fisher's short pass was stopped, leaving Pittsburgh's halftime advantage at 17-7.

The Niners, after giving up yet another TD, then scored 20 straight points to commit the robbery!! The orchestrator at QB for San Fran?? Former Steeler great Ben Roethlisberger!!! Big Ben had a rough afternoon, throwing four picks against his old mates, but his lone TD proved both clutch && controversial!! Antoine Stone caught the game-tying pass, but appeared that he didn't get both feet inbounds...:nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

Nonetheless, the Niners executed where the Steelers didn't late in the game, thanks in large part to Carlos Hyde's 105 yards on the ground, && Rob Bironas (RIP) closed the Steel Show with a field goal with just seconds left to lift the brash Niners!!! The Steelers are officially on watch for the wrong reasons now...could they go from 2 seed last year to no playoffs at all this year?? :wow: :wow: :wow:

OTHER GAMES!!!

The Vikings continue on their torrid pace in what they hope will result in a return to the postseason, racking up 500 yards of offense, a perfect QB rating by Teddy Bridgewater, && a 165 yard, 3 TD effort from Doug Martin in a 42-13 win against the Chargers!!! They're a very quiet 6-5, but maybe that's how they like it...:nerd: :nerd:

B3DM4TmCEAAal-D.jpg

So much for the Dolphins looking past the Colts prior to next week's grudge match with the Jets!!! Miami came out focused from the outset, && slaughtered the Colts, 45-3!!! Andrew Luck was intercepted 3 times, && Knowshon Moreno rumbled for 3 TDs && 132 yards on the afternoon as Miami led 38-0 at the half, cruising to the easy victory from there!!!

Highlights!!!

At 9-2, the Phins appear ready to atone for the big loss they received in MetLife just a few weeks ago!!! :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

But, the boa****l Jets, now at 8-3, appear ready to show the world that their first win against Miami was no fluke!! In our co-GOTW last week, Gang Green stifled Tom Brady && the Pats once again, picking up a 24-10 victory!!! Chris Ivory gradually wore down New England's defense, finishing with 144 yards to go with a pair of scores in the win!!! Head Coach Rex Ryan called his team "War Ready" for next week's showdown in South Florida!!! :smokin :smokin :smokin

image.jpg

Life at the top isn't easy by any means!! The NFC-leading Panthers found that out when the Falcons, who lost 45-24 in Charlotte earlier in the season, welcomed them to the Georgia Dome!!! Carolina jumped out to a 14-0 lead, but Atlanta hung around && even threatened to cut the lead to single digits && make things even more tense for Cam && Co. late in the 3rd quarter!! But NFC DPOY candidate Luke Kuechly had other ideas...

The Panthers were finally able to put the Falcons away, 35-10, in large part due to 5 takeaways && two TD catches by Kelvin Benjamin from Cam Newton!! With the win && Saints loss to Washington, Carolina saw their lead in the NFCS double to 2 games, as they look to secure HFA throughout the playoffs over the next few weeks...:pimp: :pimp:

The Cowboys thrived in the national spotlight of their Thanksgiving Day game against the Eagles, also winning by a score of 35-10!! Tony Romo's return to the field was overshadowed by Nick Foles' propensity to turn the ball over, as he threw 5 interceptions in the defeat!!! Dez Bryant racked up 184 yards, finding pay dirt once as Dallas will enter their game with the Skins next week as the NFCE frontrunners...how will they end it??? :smokin :smokin

B3DNnQtCcAIFOx4.jpg

The now 9-2 Chiefs win so much, that it's seem to become routine, typical, ho-hum!!! But they continued their winning ways in Denver, coming out on top of the Broncos, 28-6!!! Jamaal Charles && Morgan Trahan, 2 of KC's 3-headed backfield monster, visited the endzone as Matt Stafford was intercepted 3 times in what was a long afternoon in the Mile High City!!! :nthat: :nthat:

The Bucs look like a potential playoff team some weeks, && others they look like they should be drafting in the top 5!!! We saw both sides in their game against the Giants, who were equally as mercurial in a losing effort!!! The contest featured a 21 point 2nd quarter by Tampa, then a 28 point 3rd quarter by NYG, before Adrian Peterson closed the show, dominating the Giants late && scoring the GW TD to propel the Bucs to a 35-28 victory!!! Surely they could do it again next week with the Panthers coming to visit...right??? :nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

The Browns beat the Bengals 31-13 at the Dawg Pound!!! They overcame three turnovers by Johnny Manziel, leaning on Ben Tate (121 yards, 2 TD) && Josh Gordon (10 REC, 107 yards, 1 TD) to win over their AFCN rival!!! Cincy wasted another stellar game from AJ Green (7/131) in the loss, && their playoff hopes are running thin...:pimp: :pimp:

Finally...congrats to the Tennessee Titans, who beat the Jaguars 30-21, earning their first win of the year!!! :pimp: :pimp: Kendall Wright && Marcedes Lewis scored twice apiece for their respective teams, but Andy Dalton's three picks proved to be what cost the Jags in the end, with Titans safety Michael Griffin collecting two of those!!! The AFCS is still a 3-team race, however, no matter how mediocre it may be...:nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

Dope as usual.

We're Ready. I had a pretty bad game last time. My 4 turnovers led to 17 points for their defense. Won't happen again, I plan to feast on that zone coverage. We'll see be setting the tone for Toretto's Take on Monday morning.

We got caught slippin' last game but it won't happen again. We got Sammy Watkins out the paint so Decker and Amaro are next. It's time our defense start playing like we belong in the Super Bowl.

And there you have it..
