I've decided to take a semester off of school, and a friend told me about a job. So I gave them a call and she told me to email her my resume, and I said ok like a idiot having no idea how to even make one. I've only had two jobs, and I've been in college for 3 years. Am I just suppose to write down the jobs I have held, and all their information, or do I include stuff about school? Also do I just type this out on ms word or is there a specific way to do this. Help a brother out NT

Serious??? 3yrs in college and no experience at putting a resume together.
Isn't this something they teach you in high school???

- Contact info (phone, email, etc).

- Goal / Objective (something like I want to obtain an entry level position in an organization where I can contribute).

- Skills (bilingual? familiar with a variety of computer software? organized? etc? list them, but don't go overboard listing useless stuff).

- Education / (degree, major, expected graduation date, etc).

- Employment history (list past employers and what your duties were at each job).

google a template and fill in your info where they have the examples...

you really should know how to put one together by now...

Yeah they did teach me this in high school, but I don't really remember much. The way they taught me back then was basically some type of portfolio with all my projects, and artwork, so it wasn't an actual resume for a job.
