is it me or did due step his bars up tenfold on Til The Casket Drops.
he really surprised the hell out me on Popeyes, Life Change, Freedom and a few other songs.

I was always a fan of the group. Always thought they were the best duo after Outkast (IMO).
However, Malice's progression really struck out to me on this particular album.

nah, im not saying he never had bars or anything like that. idk what it is about what/how hes spitting on this album but it just struck out a lot more to me.

Maybe it's me, but it was regular ol Malice bars to me. Like he didn't step it up major, but he has always been lyrical.

no, he's always been this. Go back and check "Virginia". He's always been the one to give you the real talk, while Pusha provided the

bars.

If there was anything missing this time it was Pusha didnt go as hard on this album as previously....

as a collection, this is definitely malice's best work. not saying he wasnt good on anything else, but he crushed every single verse on here.

pusha even said it in interviews, that this is Malice's album

yes we know, we've all knowed for the best 7 years.

Malice is a new rapper, the new Malice raps like he's a ex-drug dealer that's just filled with regret, and he's trying to redeem himself but he doesn't want to do it in a corny conscious way "And I hate conscious rap", "Malicious has been refined". At least that's my take on him. And Pusha, Pusha knows he's doing wrong but he's getting everything he wanted in live hence "We in the same group but I don't share my brother's pain, not to confuse our sentiments are all the same I don't feel nothing I'm numb by the will to gain". "Freedom" really explains it best

And even if I did twist her
I promise I didn't kiss her
Won't $+*@ touchy feely
Grudge on the floor like mister did the silly
No respect shown
My homies laugh while she talk dirty on the speaker phone
Now don't you start
I spared your heart
If you ain't see it I didn't do it
Ain't I played my part?
Bricks chics whips chips, that just go with the grind
What else do you want from me, to say it, fine

YO! Hmmm... my favorite verse of Malice's is:

*++*$% is losing it... out they motha %$@+ mind
How another *$%$* talk about mine, I must be doin' it...
They must see, a significant rise in my stock
Multi-colored jewels, wit hues of blue in it

Malice was always a savage. And no...Pusha didn't go as hard on this album but his verse on "Never Will It Stop" is a top 3 verse on the album.
