So a few months ago, my car was stolen from my work place parking lot. We found the car later that night, but the people who stole my car stripped it of all my car audio equipment (deck, speakers, amps, subs). Well, today I'm looking on craigslist randomly for subwoofers, and I happen to come across a set of subs that almost identically look like mine. Then I look closer at the pictures and can immediately tell they are my subs because of some modifications I've done to the box and slight damage to the subs. I have older pictures from when I was going to sell the subs in the past that show they are the exact same set of subs and box. The problem is that when I filed my police report when the items were missing, I didn't have the serial numbers on the subs, so there was nothing they could do to find it. I gave a description of the subs in the report that matches the pictures I found today exactly. So, now I have a couple options I can do from here:
A. Call the officer who was supposed to be on the case and tell him about me finding the subs and show older photos of the subs
B. Buy them from the seller, because he is selling them stupid cheap
C. Meet up with the seller with with my buddies and beat the %!@# out of him and take the subs back
I know I'm going to get flamed for asking something like this to NT because I should just call the officer, but I'm interested in what you guys would honestly do. I'm leaning towards option C myself
