Meek is buns..no bars, mediocre beats and his hooks are trash. Not even hating, that's just the truth.

Not feelin that "singin" i want that loud go hard "i been ridin thru my old hood..." I hope this dude Meek ain goin Drake on us.

i dont know why he doesnt try to rap like ross sometimes,
the screaming with auto aint the answer its BARS, i dont know why he doesnt get it.

tomorrow

damn self made 1 was so hard..lookin back at it they dropped nothing but bangers in 2011

Playing this as backgroud noise . . . this mixtape seems like it's going to be pretty good

I have a feeling that Meek Mill is going to fall into the Wiz Khalifa/Big Sean/Rick Ross trap of releasing the best music on the mixtape and then struggle to fill an album . .

Lil Snupe was gonna be special man

I don't understand how you can be around some of the most popular and talented rappers on a regular basis and show zero growth in over 2 yrs.

Meek came out the gate on fire, but he's been stagnant as hell since.

Rick Ross showed growth?

Since he dropped Hustlin?...Absolutely. Mafia Music 2 was lyrically some of the best stuff he put out, he's regressed since then obvioiusly.

I'm talking about since Meek dropped Tupac's Back, he hasn't improved 1 iota.

Take away Ross on the hook, you'd have a worthless song in Tupac Back

Ross says the same monotonous stuff he always has. He just found his "sound".

If The Rock is making a movie, do you want it to be a comedy?

There's a lane for what Meek does, and if I were him I'd keep doing it, because there's a lot less people in it. Instead of losing your fanbase or trying to appeal to a certain type of crowd. Meek makes anthem street songs. He doesn't need to be Drake or J Cole. That's not him.

Who said anything about Drake or J. Cole?

Meek doesn't have a sound, his beats, hooks, flow are all of the place with him yelling average bars. Even Waka Flocka's non rapping *** was able to find his own "sound".

What would you have Meek Mill, Ross, etc. rap about aside from money, females, drugs, material things, and street ambitions

Read my above post, wasn't talking about subject matter.

I disagree with him not having his own sound. Stalley doesn't have his own sound. Wale and Meek have theirs.

If you listen to Mr Philadelphia or the Flamerz series, I'm not sure why anyone would think he would change or turn in to something he's not. What was cool about Meek was his hunger and how he represented the have nots who would do anything.

My problem is him being so materialistic, when you come from nothing. You aren't Jay or Kanye. IMO he's not far enough removed or rich enough to do that.

That's the biggest detriment to his career IMO. I'd tell him to tone that down, because there's a lot of us who remember he couldn't even get chicks to do his braids.
