You can only pick one....

WHICH PLAYER DO YOU WANT ONE YOUR TEAM

better question??

---
I gotta go w/ Ricky right now, he's amazing...although Lionel is one of the most talented soccer players I've ever seen.

Only one

and now that I look at it, does Ronaldo even belong in this class?

I don't understand that. When watching that Betis match, he was still phenomenal.......created chances and scored 2 free kicks...He's still amazing.

Kaka. Dude is so fluid out there, and makes plays for everyone else. Best MF IMO.

You gotta throw Robhino's name out there too.

But I would have to say Messi, but not by a long shot.

Dude has it all. Speed, dribble, shot power.

This question makes no sense, Barcelona have proved you don't build an amazing team off of ONE player, you buy out the rest of Europ

All these hyped up players getting all the air time. Personally I'd choose a defender or goalkeeper to build a team around, and then work on getting the fastest players and one "put's everything in the back of the old onion bag" striker. I'd probably take Rogerio Ceni for the fact he's a decent keeper, he would make all of the set piece plays on my team SO MUCH better (he could teach) and sure he's old, but age=experience. Chivu (Inter) gets an honorable mention as well simply because he is an amazing defender + he has a NASTY left footed shot.

A guy like Diego (Werder Bremen) would make sense in my head too. If you really want to build a franchise around someone, you're looking for a team player. Not necessarily a star.

edit: I'd take Giovanni do Santos over Messi right now by the way, I'm only saying that because Messi is acting like a @#%$ lately just because the Rangers spent all 90 minutes defending... Messi should know by now most teams WILL do that against Barcelona, I don't want players who run their mouth on my squad.

messi, that goal against getafe was incredible, he has the ability to change a game

Also, give me Franck over Diego.

at Ribery over Diego. Next time you wanna stone face me, at least properly justify it. Ribery doesn't have the vision, passing skills, or shooting skills Diego has, he's just faster.

Well, first of all, I was just stonefacing you because you said you would take Gio over Messi simply because he was complaining about Rangers style of football.

Secondly, my personal preference takes Ribery over Diego, but the way you are acting is as if Ribery isn't a playmaker, and is only reliant on pace. You are dreaming if you think that's true. The pressure Franck puts on defenses going forward is enough to for me to take him over Diego despite the two years in age.

Unrelated, but I am excited to see what goes on this summer with Nasri, because I think this is the summer when he's made an offer than neither he nor Marseilles can refuse...
