god i wanna play mgs4 so bad but i aint willing to buy a ps3 just for that game. i know theres some other good games but i dont play too much and already havea 360.

Don't I bought a PS3 just for MGS4 and i was VERY VERY.... VERY disappointed. I hate to say it but it looks like MGS3 was Hideo's peak.

Really? No replay value? I went through and beat that game 3 times trying to complete it different ways. Like going the whole game with no kills on one runthrough. And the following mission was easy as hell.

Metal Gear Solid 4 was the first game and the first time I've ever played a PS3 game. After completing it in about 22 hours, I thought it was the best gameI've ever played. I never played the other 3 but I got the gist of what was going on because off all the information that was going on.

My biggest complaint of MGS4 was that it was just too short. The cutscenes always felt longer than the mission that preceded it. The following mission wasboring as all hell.
I loved the game though. The battle with Liquid in the Metal Gears was awesome. The Wolf battle was long, but fun. The mantis battle was awesome. The only onethat truly stumped me. I kept thinking of the original mantis and knew it would be something weird to beat her. I figured out the dolls, but didn't thinkof the syringe. Had to look that one up. Every boss seemed alot easier than previous games though.

Wolf wasn't too bad.
I eliminated her troops first then hid at the far end by the gate. Eventually she appears in the distance then I blast her.

Everything was perfect but I knew this was the ultimate MGS when you took control of an actual Metal Gear.
I need to play this again now that I think about it.

Everybody in this position, do yourself a favor and get the trilogy pack for PS2. You will not regret it.
