Meteor Man Appreciation Post

I know, I know. It hasn't even been 24 hours since I pretty much put BET on blast, but they've lucked up again and showed a "Black" movie ofsubstance, or at least some kind of ingenuity... METEOR MAN! A Robert Townsend film (Five Heartbeats, The Parent 'Hood), a Washington, DC schoolteacherliving and working in a gang-controlled inner-city neighborhood comes in contact with a green meteor and cleans up the streets as the Meteor Man. As hokey andquirky as all of that sounds, it was actually a decent movie and is worth checking for all the cameos alone.

It's almost over here on the West Coast but I may just stay up late to catch the repeat before Game and The Deal come on...
