I'm going down there on the 26th and staying till the 31st. I'm playing in a beach tennis tournament that Saturday and Sunday. Any other events going on that weekend?

make sure u do some research tho, on the last day I stayed there I wake u like 2 hours before my flight right, there was some marathon goin throughout south beach so there were hella detours. After about 7 detours and returning the car rental we miss our flight and have to pay extra bread just to get back... I was sick a lil bit but still well worth the $ cuz i had a great time.

Its french toast sticks... that doesn't even sound like anything else on the menu... Its unfortunate that your offended because there's a lot of illegal immigrants there pan handling on south beach streets just giving op a heads up because I was a bit taken back when 2 people including that mexican woman approached the table I was eating at looking to make a $. I live in NY and its the same thing here... this country has a lot of illegal immigerents. I'm just stating the obvious

im really hoping to go this sunday.
early is before midnight, most of the clubs open round 10-11, cover can be anywhere from $10-25, drink (wells) can be anywhere from $6-$12
most of the clubs have several rooms, and it all depends when you're here, if you're coming in 2 weeks (wmc) you have lot to pick from.
space is the most popular one, just cuz of the after hours that closes at noon (the next day) n there's usually a big guest dj every 2 weeks,
and is use to be oscar g and cedric gervais residency,
i know a few ppl on here got promoter hook ups

i remember one time i went to nocturnal on weekday cuz my boy was performing...worst time ever
but weekends are mad rowdy and the weather just started getting nice i'd hit up the beach...yo pm me if you need hookups to get past the line at some clubs

I wish I could be going to Calle Ocho this year but my Spring breaks ending that day and I'm gonna be out of here till summer.
The Grove on weekdays isn't bad, we usually hit that up for bars on off nights and something more chill and less expensive than clubbing.

you wanna know about REAL clubs? @!!* the beach. ride to Downtown Miami and check out Whiteroom on a Saturday night. Craze is playing there this weekend, we're gonna get BUCK. Other good clubs include Vagabond and the Electric Pickle. Those are my spots.
Also, PURDY LOUNGE on Sunday night is awesome (thats on south beach). And if u wanna check out something more chill, hit up Jazid on a Sunday, they only let you spark blunts, no cigs allowed.
if you're interested, this weekend is the monthly "art walk" in Miami's design district in Midtown (Wynwood). All of the galleries open their doors to see really dope art, get free alcoholic drinks with no i.d. I'm going in May but I'm already excited as heck. I already booked my flight but still have to find a decent hotel.
I probably wont be renting a car because it's not necessary on South Beach.
Is Key West worth checking out? I'm thinking of going there for 1-2 days.
Do they play soccer in South Beach? I only saw a bunch of volleyball games going on.
Any good gyms that I can work out at for a few days?

Lmao at you guys posting the wrong Calle Ocho. Anyway, if you're into dive bars check out the Abbey or even The Room in SB. I liked Tootsies when I went, but I can see how some people won't. My fave strip club will remain unnamed though I'm sure it'll still be backed with tourists this month. Nikki Beach is supposed to be really nice to just chill out but i'm not really sure. Vagabond is fun on Thursdays and they serve some kickin food in the outdoor area. There are a lot of new bars that have popped up on NE 14 st. Skip Bayside haha.
