now, i can almost guess that you haven't been following UConn football as much as i have, since i live in CT, but the way Randy Edsall has been steadily building the team up
and beating quality opponents in the past years, they can easily win 9 games this year and go up from there in the coming years, as long as Edsall keeps bringing great Talent at Running back like Donald Brown, Andre Dixon and Jordan Todman.

and Denard won't be there in Fall of 2013 he'll be a senior 2012-2013 season.

I actually thought ND played one of their more disciplined and crisp games on defense in a long time this week minus a few whiffs by Teo which isn't characteristic of him.

Not sending guys on blitzes from 30 yards out anymore helps.

No doubt, Edsall is bringing in talent @ UCONN, that's a given. He has done a great job. But UM is gonna be back to an elite level if RR is allowed to fully implement his system/players. I don't think UCONN will ever reach that level.

FWIW, Forcier has every reason to sulk....there are a ton of programs out there that would love to have him.  Hopefully he transfers within the Big 10 so he can get his in vs. Michigan in the future...
The hell are you talking about?!

...

Anyways, my biggest worry is by far our pass defense against Rudolph and Floyd.  I thought UConn would give our secondary a much bigger test/scare and I was wrong (due to the amount of drops plus the wind).  I'm still scared like hell for our defensive backfield with the departures/non-qualifiers/transfers/injuries, etc.

I think it will be a close game (like usual) either way.  I think the victor will get a major boost from this game for the rest of the season.  This would be HUGE for Rich Rod and would basically guarantee us going into the Big Ten at 4-0.

Lets get it.

all im saying is, if RR is finally getting his system in place at Michigan, they will be back at an elite level, and i just feel like the game in 2013 will be more like the second quarter where UConn had them back, and were able to contain Denard to an extent, UConn has made success on power running into play action, and in that quarter when they scored all of their 10 points, they were able to show that they can do that against faster, and overall better players than The Big East. If Rich Rod can get more Denard Robinson type players then Michigan can finally Dethrone Ohio State, Iowa and Wisconsin as the top of the Big 10. UConn is steadily improving, and could of easily gone undefeated last year as they lost all five games by a combined 15 points. Will you see UConn in the National Title talks in 5 years, No. but just be on the look in a couple of years for a team that can possibly take down top BCS conference school teams.

Answer IV DMX (my fav ai shoes ever) said was very right!!

Tate is a stuck up snob, his dad is even worse!

People are riding denard robinson a lil too hard right now, but I like his game....

"But to keep on topic, when these two teams meet its the ultimate collection of arrogant fans in college football. In terms of arrogance I rank ND as #1, Michigan as #2. There are crazier fans, more die hard fans, down right stupid fans, but when it comes to this game I just want to go through the week with the world on mute. 95% of the people have no idea what they are talking about"

^^^^TRUTH!

Michigan by 10.

Robinson will go bananas again. RR spread is just to nasty. If people couldn't stop Pat White with weeks to prepare for him...NO team will be able to contain D-Rob who is (I believe) a better overall player than Pat at this stage
