All I can say is don't cheat yourself out of a good opportunity because you want to hold the fam together....actually I have no regrets. I would do it all over again. Just to have a chance to someday have my seed waking me up early in the morning or begging me to read her a story every night. I'm a sucker for the traditional life that I've never had.

This is exactly how I feel.....and it kind of scares me.It's hard to walk away from "giving my family a chance."

See man this is why I love NT at times....I just had a member PM me who went out if his way to even give me his phone number if I needed to talk. Boiler, if you see this, ill respond to your message later. I can't reply to PMs on my phone.

Just watch Californication...it won't give you any solutions but it will give a sense of comraderie in your struggle. Theoretically, you should just take time for yourself or go with the new girl, but none of that outweighs the chance at family...word to Hank Moody.

You gotta swallow that pride and stick with yo baby momma..trust there's other couples with worse situations plus when you look back you'll say at least you tried. You'll children will one day thank you for that...

Word… Cut off the old chick…
reality probably set in on her that no one wants to raise the next mans kids…

still maintain the relationship with your child but cut shorty off and build with  a new girl….

also ask both chicks if they are into polygamy… if they are i hsouldnt have to tell you what to do...

i been dealin with this babymom stuff since i was 17, it defenitly tugs at your patience and is a burden.

best thing i can say is do what's best for you and your own happiness. trying to make things work with someone that it just won't work for the sake of a kid ends up being a problem for you, your kid, and your bm's because your inevitably going to go back to the same ol b.s over and over again and it never changes.

honestly now, i just do whatever i want, see whoever i want, and if my sons mom wants to get mad or bug about it then oh well. i take care of my son and support and provide for him so that's all that really matters in the end if i can't be happy with his mom, im not going to throw the prime years of my life away searching for something that's not there when there's a ton of other women out there.

Thing is "Michelle" isn't even dying to be with me. I could try and stick it out with her and get myself burned in the long run when she throws me overboard again and then I lose both chicks.

all this good advice and this is what you come up with

Well since u put it like that and are gettin mixed answers...this is on u. At the end of the day, you're the one who has to go to sleep next to whoever you chose. Not us. Happy selection...

You should not live your life for anyone else, including your son. At the end of the day, you are the one who has to look into the mirror and take responsibility for where you are, so if you're unhappy, it's your fault. Be with who you love. Life is too short to be with people you don't.

Your kid would want you to be happy. You're not doing him, or yourself, any favors by making yourself miserable & arguing with the baby momma 24/7. Go to the new one, be happy & be a supportive father. You do not have to be in a relationship with the baby's mother to be a good father to the baby.

What's wrong with asking for a little advice? I've gotten several PM's from members who have been in my situation and can relate, so what's the big deal?

I'm mad that you ended up finding a nice girl and ended up screwing her over. That's terrible

Just so I'm sure who you are...Were you the one making posts about how your ex was trying to get you to sign over your parental rights and was also threatening to move to a different state?

New girl. I didn't stay with my daughters mom either. We are better suited as friends and we get along perfectly fine. We just shouldn't be together.

The hard part is meeting girls who will accept your kid.

if you leave, shes going to hit you with child support..

if you stay.. most likely she will still hit you with child support..

stay and not be about that life while paying child support while being a good dad (but the tension with the baby momma isnt healthy)
or

leave and be about that sane life .. pay child support and still be a good daddy.

your choice

I already pay "child support." Though it isn't required, I give her cashier's check monthly and still help with other costs when they arise.
I want the sane life, though.

How is she stopping you from seeing your child though OP? God women are so questionable.

Quoting myself here since it's confirmed that you are that same dude...

Leopards rarely change their spots. I don't understand why you would give into that broads wishes after the way she spoke to you and treated you. She tried to stop you from seeing your child and threatened to put a restraining order against you and you think its a good idea to have a romantic relationship with her. You deserve everything that's coming to you.
