I in no way care about the rep system, but how in the hell does FutureMD have 300+ reps when nobody agrees with anything he says.

Maybe, just maybe a lot of the things he says makes sense to some of us?

I'm glad I'm not the only one, that makes absolutely NO SENSE...it seems everyone hates dude.

I am a medical Interpreter in a hospital. Im not a perfectionist (everyone makes mistakes), but errors like this piss me off.
So the interpreter said that Yunel Escobar wants everyone who was offended to apologize to him? I hope I am reading this wrong.

Ide be fired/sued if I messed up like this at work

This is probably what Escobar said,

and his interpreter translated word for word, which like you said he shouldn't have because it is a different message in English

Escobar apologized for writing the slur on the tape, but gave only vague reasons for why he did it, saying it was a joke and that it was not meant to offend anyone. He said the word he used was frequently uttered in baseball clubhouses, and claimed it had no meaning.

Yeah, it was either mistranslated or he misspoke. Either way, it was sheer stupidity on his part and he needs to deals with the consequences. If it were a racial slur, he'd be in deeper **** but ****** is just a joke.
