Okay ive been searching for this movie. I think the main actor is Derek Luke, but i check his filmography and didnt find the title.
So i still believe its him, but im not to sure because those imdb things are pretty accurate. Anyways the characters role is a black student in a terribleenvironment. Hes an outstanding student, but his classes are to easy in which he become bored and underachieves. Blah blah.... he runs into this old white guythat has abandoned the world, and resides in a apartment by himself. The old white guy has written a world famous book in which his life makes turn orsomething, my memorys is bad about his life.
the black kid somehow finds this old white guy, who helps him. the black kid ends up in a top highschool or college cant rememeber which one. The kids is anexcellent student in english, his essay skills are below none. Ring a bell?????
