Are there any movie lovers here?  I don't mean the movies that are coming out today, but the real movies when they were good and had good actors.  I love watching classic movies or other original movies.  I didn't realize how many movies today are actually remakes until I started really getting into the older movies.  What are your fave classics?

Menace II Society
Raging Bull
Commando
First Blood
Breakfast Club

Dazed and Confused

Breakfast Club.

@op how old are we talking?

I don't think I've voluntarily seen a movie that's older than 1980.

How old? What actors?

Can you list your top 10 movies? I'm born in 93 if it matters but I'm always looking to learn about the past.

Sometimes, the older the better.  A friend put me up on Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down.  That was pretty good.  But it's not in my top 10 movies.  I have a strange mix of interests. They aren't in any particular order.

Annie (only musical I like)

The Sandlot

The Little Rascals

Any Charlie Chaplin Film

Any Marx Brothers Film

ANY Alfred Hitchcock (Love It)

There are still good movies being made today.. No need to dismiss everything new

I'm not dismissing them.  I like some new movies.  I just appreciate the classics more.

There's been a few good movies come out lately...with good actors.
The best movie I have ever scene , easily Raging Bull. Everything about that movie was beautiful.

My favorites though... Goodfellas, Taxi Driver, Casino, Hugo, The Departed,.. pretty much any movie by Scorsese. There's more but one's considered "classics" are these.

Taxi Driver

Pulp Fiction

On The Waterfront

Bad Boys (1982)
