MOVING advice?

hoping to get some advice from those of you that have moved households.

Its not to hard to figure out how to move furniture, tvs, solid material etc.......but what is the best way to transport all of your clothes? Most of my stuff are hanging up in closets so I'd like to figure out the best way to move everything.

I am having a place built, so I dont have a new house to move stuff too, so its going to stay in a storage facility for a while.

Go to Uhaul. They make bigass boxes made especially for clothes, and even ones with a bar going through it so you can keep them hung up.

When I moved in and out to my dorm during my college years, I usually transport my clothes inside large plastic bins with the hangers separated.

How much clothes are you bringing to move?

Just use racks and wood boxes, I flyed my stuff FedEx, I did not care HOW it got back home..

trash bags over the clothes with the clothes still on the hanger. Its hood but it saves a lot of space and time

probably at least 100 shirts/pants that are hanging up.


I gotta find out how much those boxes with the bar through it costs....

Go to a warehouse or place that has a lot of shipping done. My old job had tons of nice sturdy boxes that we gave away if people asked for them. I never knew how expensive boxes were..
