I pay $619 a month in rent to move into a newly made building in Bushwick. @ blocks from the train station and the area is getting gentrified so the police presence keeps the goons away. I make a little under $30K a year so I went the low income housing route. In NYC there is some 80/20 apartments and whatnot but they are so hard to get because there are so many people looking for affordable housing. It took forever because the leasing company couldn;t get their stuff together and kept handing my file off to someone else. Feel good to be able to chill with my friends in W'burg or Bushwick and have em come back to my crib for drinks and smokes. BTw i'm 29. It took me way too long to get out i\IMO but i aint ever going back
PM info on the building if you don't mind? I'm currently looking now, sounds like a very possible option for me

Doesn't it feel great to be able to do anything you want?  You can take a dump with the door open.  Have sex in the kitchen or wherever you feel like it.  Watch porn, play video games, blaze till you sleep, wake up whenever, etc... and NO ONE CAN SAY $*+@ about it!  It feels good to be the King in your own castle man!

Tell me about it. I walked in the other day and just dropped my stuff in the middle of the crib and not a single damb was given. Cleaning up after myself is a no-no tho. I hate it already.
