Format for Season 42 is Cutthroat 2. Three teams (of eight), similar to last time. I wish they'd done Gauntlet or Inferno, but oh well. At least it's teams again, although I'm sure there will be dumb twists, like swapping teams, then pairs, then down to singles.

Smaller cast this season (24), and shorter shooting schedule. Been a very long time since they've had such a small cast.

Believe this is the first flagship season to be exclusive to P+. Glad we'll get a season with language uncensored like the AS seasons. Does feel strange they only have 24 castmates this season. I feel like they have been doing 30+ since dirty 30.

It's getting harder to do big casts. I've always said the best season was Inferno II (R.I.P. Dave Mirra). It was 20 cast members, but it was the the best cast of all time. No dead weight outside of Jon Brennan and Karamo.
Guys: Abram, CT, Derrick K, Dan Renzi, Darrell, Landon, The Miz, Brad
Girls: The Mean Girls (Tina, Rachel, Veronica), Beth (quit after Tonya threw her clothes in the pool), Tonya (Inferno 3 champ), Shavonda (final elimination as a rookie), Robin, Jodi (Duel champ), Julie (great for insane drama, and leftover Veronica beef), Jamie Chung (winner)
