Multiple Choice Exams

i mean... at a certain point you actually have to know the material.
my strategy works well for the SATs/AP tests and intro-level college classes. but in higher level classes, especially ones with mainly math as opposed to recalling facts (ie history/econ/etc), a lot of times the teachers will put in the effort to make their tests foolproof. at that point, you'll just have to know what's wrong and what's right.
when i get a MC test, i look it over real quick and figure out whether i can just BS through it, or whether i'll actually have to dig deep and remember ishh. out of curiosity, what class are you struggling in?

I hate multiple choice and just my luck the majority of the professors at my vet school love a multiple choice test.
I just had to learn the style of MC the teacher use like A and B, C only or the infamous all of the above.

Dont you guys just hate it when...
theres MC and the choices are from A-F?
they'll have a straight forward answer for A-C and then from D to F it'll be:
D: A and B is true
E: B and C are false
F: A and C is true

Man if you put in some serious studying 7-8 hours for the test (not one night, over the span of 3 days before + day of) you will be less stressed, go in more confident and have less trouble with multiple choice..
For studying.. Just take your notes and condense them into the most important material so it takes (15-30 minutes to go through it once) and do that repeatedly and when you get to the test it will just stick (at least it does for me).. 2 hours a day taking 20 minutes to study once for 4 days, you would have looked at the notes 24 times. It would be almost second nature when you sit down at the test..

Yeah, but then there are 2 that could be right - I would be interested to know how many times I was down to choosing between 2 and got it wrong - but the other one was right.

I hate it when you answer a streak of questions thinking "yeah I know I got these right for sure" then it tuns out that they're all the same answer. Completely kills the little bit of confidence I had for that whole test

Essay tests are the way to go. One cannot guess on the those--- especially in a Junior-Senior level course.
