I swear he wouldn't have been even near as hyped up if Bobby Hurley didn't come out with that quote when he was a sophomore or whatever that he "could be the greatest point guard to ever come out New Jersey."

Bobby Hurley would never say that sh*t ,    Kevin Boyle was the one who  said that about Kyrie

So you guys aren't impressed that he shut down Jacob Pullen and Kalin Lucas as a freshmen?

I don't even care what y'all say about the mix, but talking %+!# about Kyrie

He was the best player every time he stepped out on the court.

Its the same type of highlight mix that people post of high school players they think are amazing, so I dont know what people are downplaying.

Its a highlight mix of a handful of games from a true freshman leading the  #1 ranked defending national champions.  What do you expect?

He's not a "highlight" type player anyways, but when hes on the court you cant miss him.

You're entitled to your opinion of course, but he was a freshman dominating legitimate programs like Michigan State, Butler, Kansas State, etc in his first month of college ball. He was playing out of his mind.
Sure he played some great basketball in those tournaments, BUT as I watch those segments you mentioned I don't have the

face like I expect to have when I hear the word "highlight"...seems we just have different definitions of the word. I guess you were just putting together a mix of his best plays so far at Duke, which is cool...I get it.

This kid could be a nice NBA  player if he pushes himself   .

All I know is if I'm a GM I'm not spending a top 3 pick on this dude in the UPCOMING draft. He's at the very least about 2 years away from being able to go into the NBA and do anything. There's absolutely no way in hell you can tell me this dude is ready next year to go head-to-head against John Wall, Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Deron Williams, Chris Paul, Brandon Jennings, Monta Ellis, Rondo, Devin Harris or Tony Parker. Just about every team, or good team for that matter, has an elite level point guard in today's game. I'll take my chances with Brandon Knight over Kyrie Irving any day of the week if I had to draft one of the two.
