Probably may favorite sequential three songs on any CD. Beats and verse are grotestque!

fam i thought i was the only one who noticed this....perfect way to end a masterpiece i still get goose bumps when i bump you're nobody

I agree. LAD is the best rap CD of all time. It transcends rap music, even my brother and cousin who dont even listen to rap play LAD on the regular. Those 3 songs in a row, the production, the lyrics, it's honestly unfair.

these three songs in a row are the greatest three songs in a row

and the greatest three to end an album

for the past 6-8 months whenever i put on LAD i start on these three

they dont sound the same, but some how they all have the same vibe

i really dont know how to explain it but they go together so perfectly

i cant listen to just one i have to hear all three in order

i'm glad you made this post for the longest i thought i was the only one that noticed this.

Big was divine (Like we all are). Christ-opher Wallace.

"Dying ain't the s_ but its pleasant, kinda quiet..watch my _s bring the riot...Giving cats the opposite of diets. You gain 30 pounds when you die, no lie."

Who formulates those kinds of thoughts on the fly and places it over drums?

He was too great to stay with us for an extended period of time.

"You're nobody til somebody kills you..."

LAD was his own eulogy for a ritual sacrifice.

"Apologies in order...to Tiara my daughter. If it was up to me, you would be with me..."

Props OP...

I mentioned these three songs on here before and there were a few that liked them as much as I did.

Yo what he did on Long Kiss Goodnight was straight disgusting

On some for real for real... rappers should be happy that he left the game early because if he would have live for a couple of more albums he probably would have been unreachable... he barely is as an MC right now... well to me anyway.

Big Sipping Spending summed up everything for me though.

Love this album, these songs, and BIG overall.

I get uber pissed off when cats mention anything post LAD as being better than it.

BIG's flows on this being recorded in 1996 just dumbfounds me.
