damn I remember that happened to my spacejams from 01 last year, but I used to use those to "work" in, even after crazy glue they continued to comeapart...quality inspired by the greatest player huh?

seriously, basketball sneakers are not really meant to last 8 years being "worked" in. If they lasted that long that should beconsidered good quality. Remember these are just shoes, dont blame quality if your sneakers dont last 10-15 years, there should be no expectation for them tolast that long.
 
Happened to one pair of mine.

Shoe goo did the trick though.
 
You shouldnt have tossed them. You couldnt have got them professionally repaired at a shoe repair shop. They use their own glue, not gorilla glue and shoe gooyou see people recommending all the time to do it yourself.

I had my first pair of space jams fixed professionally, and you'd never be able to tell the difference one bit.

Cost me $20, and they had them for 1 week.

wow they came clean off, shoulda tooken it to a shoe repair shop or just got some glue to hold them really well. i wouldnt have threw em away. he;; i wouldaeven put em up on a shelf or somethin to look at
