I collect wheat pennies. Always thought they helped me out if I carry one.
Luck is belief. Why put your faith in an item to be lucky when you can put the same belief into yourself.
But if a lucky something helps you then that is more than okay as well.
A lot of people walk around with specific stones for luck (e.g. quartz, rose quartz, ruby...etc.)
