I was initially intrigued with Nate coming to Boston but after seeing him for an extensive time, I cannot stand his brand of basketball. Simply put, it's lazy and dumb basketball. He takes wild shots, plays little to no defense, and spends more time goofing off than playing team basketball. He just stood under the basket instead of boxing out, letting another player get an offensive rebound and score. Now I see why he was run out of NY.

Look at these numbers:
@WAS: 3 of 8
DET: 1 of 5, 2 TO's
ORL: 2 of 8
UTAH: 3 of 6, fouled out
CHA: 1 of 6
HOU: 1 of 7
@ORL: 2 of 15

And these are just recent examples. This guy is all hype and is no better in Boston than he was in NY. Unappreciated!

I still think y'all could have won game 7 if you had given dude minutes.

Most Knicks fans loved him but I kind of always felt the way you did.  His act got tiring quick to me.  But in the right situations he can be very valuable.

i dont watch the celtics. my dad does. he's always yelling about nate.

He's a 5'9" scorer, what else do you expect?

His job is to come off the bench and provide scoring and energy. When he doesn't score or give you the occasional big defensive play, he doesn't do much on the court.

I'll always remember him ready to throw fists at J.R. Smith (?) in that Nuggets-Knicks fight at MSG

So your watching the game now huh? Yeah I never liked his style of play. He's all style and no substance, I mean he seems like a cool guy but doesn't really fit the Boston style of play.

I remember seeing a clip of him dancing and pointing to the camera acting all cocky backstage, then the score comes up and it shows the Knick lost. If anyone can find it, I need a good laugh.

He makes mind numbing decisions out there. A true "critical thinker".

he's a great cheerleader though... dude always seems to be yelling and jumping up and down on the sidelines...

Yeah, I mean sure he's won 3 dunk contests and is an energetic guy, but he plays with no smarts. None whatsoever.

I know what you're talking about.  I don't think I have it saved but yeah...I don't even remember the context behind it

He's struggling this year, no question. He just hasn't been knocking down his open looks lately. His shot selection has always been kind of wild. It's just one of those things that can either be a big positive or a big negative because when he gets it going he can give the bench a huge lift. I don't think his style of play is ever really gonna change, it's just a matter of hitting his shots.

I'm still hoping he can get back to playing like he did in the playoffs last year, giving the 2nd unit a boost.

if it was not for the celtics picking him up, he would be out the NBA or overseas by now.  Really going to the celtics during the playoff run last year grew him up alot and he learned how to be a professional.

Funny you call Nate out for that missed box out when Rondo and someone else was standing in the picture.

I love what Nate brings. Energy and scoring. That is his game. He is streaky. We know that, but you aren't screaming that when he is getting buckets. I love the dude.

Sure but who was closest to boxing out the Blazer? Nate was.

Nate is very streaky but let's not even forget that he plays matador defense out there. Picks up bonehead, unnecessary fouls all the time. I know he's not a PG, and is forced into this role because of injuries, but he looks no better in Boston than he was in NY. This team should've made him a better player.

Give us some stories..........
I only met him twice so no personal stories worth telling but I would hang with a lot of her family that grew up with him and from what I could tell, he's EXACTLY like you'd imagine given what you see on TV. Live lil %+!!$ that's all jokes but quick to flip the switch.

This mad random but I thought about knockin her up just for the genes. Him, Marshawn Lynch, Josh Johnson (Bucks), and a endless list of D1 athletes in her immediate family.
