Can't wait for Houston gsw :pimp: it has elements of port/okc imo. Chris Paul is jealous of curry and he tries to compete with him the same way russ tried to compete with dame.

The way steph took cp crown in 2015-16 was filthy, and cp flopping whining self will never have good luck in the post season.

Huh.

Imagine if this year's clippers team played this year's warriors team, but the warriors were the 4th youngest team in the league making their first playoff appearance and still had Harrison Barnes instead of KD. I think that's something like how this game 7 will go tonite.

Now imagine if this year's jazz team played this year's rockets team, but the jazz were in year 7 with Mitchell as the #1 option and he never improved in the playoffs and the rockets were back to back champs and cp was 3 years younger. And the jazz were acting like they wanted all the smoke. And there you have the 2019 Western conference semifinals

For the Rockets to win this series it’s gonna come down to their defense. Couple points I hope they focus on.

  • Transition defense has got to be better than it was last series. Utah was to inept offensively to take advantage of the Rockets routinely jogging back on defense.
  • When Curry runs PNR it’s gotta be an automatic switch regardless of who’s out on the court. The Clippers trapping Curry and letting Dray feast on 2 on 1’s was puzzling to say the least. I might could understand if Looney or Bogut was setting the pick and you wanted to trap but Dray? Nah that defense hadn’t worked on those 2 in years.
  • Durant is getting his regardless but the Rockets can’t allow him to be a playmaker too. They gotta make Durant beat them on their terms. Make him continually hit contested 2 point shots without fouling. The Clippers allowed him to shoot 10 FT’s a game and the vast majority of those FT’s seem to come off someone fouling him shooting a jumper. Those have to be limited, he’s to good of a scorer to give him free trips.
  • Find Klay make him put the ball on the floor and live with the results.
  • Gotta force Dray to make plays off the dribble and not as the roller in PNR situations. If he camps out behind the 3 point line give him that shot all day.
  • Switches have to be more precise than what they were last series. Against Utah the Rockets ran a hybrid switch were only certain situations called for a switch. I don’t think you can get away with that against the Warriors. Every action has to be switched but the problem with that is Faried and Green struggled mightily with it.
  • Gotta play physical with the Warriors. There needs to be nonstop holding and grabbing until the refs get tired of calling it. No freedom of movement for Klay and Steph
  • Rockets gotta finish the possession with a rebound. Looney in the regular has killed the Rockets on the the offensive glass when he’s gotten minutes. The smaller Rockets have to gang rebound like they did in the Utah series.

*****s so phony and fair weather in here

Y’all gonna be back to Beta KD or claiming somebody in his head in another week. Watch.
All this new found Kevin Durant love is fake. ***** never had this many fans/supporters in OKC.

Once dude became a clog in another man's, who shall remain nameless, journey is when he found this new wave of love.

It's pretty obvious to anybody who's payin attention.

Thought Shai ceiling was a high level starter to begin the season and ended the season thinking he’s a legit two way star prospect and that’s the biggest win of the season.
Interesting. And to think, he was a just a silly late lottery pick.

Just rewatched the game with the Clippers feed. Hearing Ralph talk about the future of the team, knowing he won’t be here anymore.....
