online mode= the game play types. .i.e. dynasty...club mode...the way you can party up in 5 on 5 mode... etc.

online support= taking care of down time...issues of lag...updating the rosters...updating fixes for cheesers and fixing glitches..

they're things in 2k9 now still that havent even been patched or fixed...the lag issues are still rampant in the 5 on 5 team mode...since day one..theglitch where you can call time out from the pause menu and not lose a timeout...

2k9 is a joke of a game in terms of support...

Can't lie when it comes to Live having all the better game features and better looking accessories (shoes, bands, etc.). On 2K, you can't let playerswear leg sleeves because it completely covers up their entire sock.
