Seeing as how DHoward was suspended because he wasn't thrown out of the game, why isn't Rondo being suspended for game 6? He obviously wasn'tpunished enough for his foul on Brad Miller in game 5.

I'd like an answer, too.

Maybe because Boston complained about a conspiracy?

i don't think he should be suspended rather the foul should be upgraded to a flagrant one, still the outcome of the game is irreversible

you can't purposely hit someone in the face and it's only a F1.

Cause he shouldn't be.

and i'm rooting for the Bulls, but no way he gets suspended for that.

because the league is running by Stern and he wanted a Boston vs Cavs Eastern Conf final

My thoughts exactly. Rondo was no where near getting a play on the ball. And dude was staring down Brad's face as he laid the blow. Maybe Boston> Chitown for next series ratings?

Well I don't think he should get suspended but that definitely should have been a flagrant. ...Can't go back and change it now...

Because there's a huge difference between what Rondo did and what Dwight Howard did...

What Dwight did was 100% uncalled for... He should been tossed from Game 5 on the spot...

Rondo shoulda been tabbed for a flagrant foul, but that ain't suspension worthy...

It was a hard foul and thats it. Shouldnt have been reviewed to begin with

hard foul? please.. he wasnt going for the ball.. it was his head and nothing else. he wasnt even in the vicinity of the ball

Ok how many of y'all truly believe that the NBA has agendas based on playoff matchups AND tell refereesto do what they can subtly to help achieve those agendas?

I try not to buy into that, but then again the league stands to have better visibility with a possible Boston vs Cavsmatchup...then (if the Lakers go all the way) they'll either have a Lakers vs Celtics rematch (HUGE RATINGS both for historical reasons and for rematchreasons), or the Lakers vs Cavs ( self-freakin explanatory).

maybe cuz celtics are more relevant than the bulls in this year's playoffs.... too bad chicago....maybe next year your team will be good enough be involvedin the grand NBA conspiracies...

Clearly he wasn't wasn't going for the ball.

To me not going for the ball = Flagrant /suspension worthy.

But we know Boston gets preferential treatment.

I'm tired of hearing about Rondo's foul. Was it flagrant? It probably was. Rondo doesn't deserve to be suspended for it though. Chicago fansneed to stop crying about the game and move on. The refs didn't take that 10 point lead away from you. It shouldn't have even came down toMiller's play in the final seconds of overtime.

Stop crying folks. There won't be a suspension. Good decision.

The league office ruled Wednesday that the referees acted properly when they did not assess a flagrant foul against the Boston guard after he whacked Chicago's Brad Miller in the mouth with two seconds remaining in Game 5 of the Boston Celtics-Chicago Bulls series Tuesday night.
