the trade i would like for my team to make doesn't work on the espn trade machine YET
because of collison's contract, which was front loaded this year to $13,250,000 and goes back down to $3,272,997 next year
but i would like to see this trade:
westbrook + perk + nate + mullens + ivey + thabo or cook + 2 first round picks
for d12 and turk (duhon could be thrown in as well.. give us someone to backup PG and SG)
- magic can then turn around and trade jameer for something
- we get a number 2 who's happy being number 2
- we block any other team in the west from getting him
- we have a starting lineup of: maynor, harden, KD, ibaka and howard
- bench of: thabo or cook, collison and aldrich
how many teams can offer a better deal that includes:
a 22 year old all-star (westbrook)
a quality starting center in the league (perk.. mullens would prob be thrown in as well, just to match things up salary wise.. so they get a developmental guy who is only 22 also)
quality bench guys (cook would be available and thabo as well.. wouldn't include BOTH thabo and cook though)
expiring contracts (nate, ivey and cook are all on deals that expire after next year)
can take on 1 of their horrid contracts
and multiple 1st round picks
