but this shouldnt be an issue.. they have to deal with a whole alot of complex shh

for example, there are over the counter medicines or everyday items these guys cant consume.. i remember a story a while ago about an irish swimmer and alcohol levels and how that could be used as a masking issue

or to keep it to swimming, they ended up having to regulate the materials and sizes of swimsuits.. because people had gotten to using pretty much full diving bodysuits, because the buoyancy provided from the polyurethane

I guess to me this just isn't complex. My post was directed towards the discussion around rugby so I'll stick to the context of rugby.

Research and science has shown 36 months of consecutive hormone therapy still doesn't make a biological male's testosterone levels anywhere close to a biological female. Even transgender female PhD researchers admit this. The data is the data.

If you're a level headed person and actually believe the science, then in what world is it complex enough to need discussion around whether we should let someone with so much more testosterone tackle another?
PEDs are banned for a reason. Weight classes exist for a reason. Men hitting women is gross for a reason.

I am progressive. I believe wholeheartedly in transgender rights and their right to be treated as human beings.
People who claim they believe the science can't in good conscience think this is anything but a very straight forward answer.

i'm not arguing for any of this to happen.. i dont want to be arguing at all

but i'm well aware certain athletes have gotten in trouble for the medicines contained in their inhalers.. that's something people with asthma need.. and yet at certain levels, that is regulated

so i look at something like this, wonder how we even got to where we are when so many details are scrutinized and regulated in sports

again to reference caster semenya and the ongoing issues with her.. and yet you have the lia thomas situation and now that rugby situation

i do know alot of white people in and from texas are republican

i wouldnt just assume a white person from texas is liberal

theyve now added mixed relays in both track and swimming in the olympics

my preference would have been for them to add 4 x 200 relays in track for both men and women

and then 4 x 50s for men and women, medley and freestyle, for swimming
