Nearly a year later, was Game 7 of the NBA Finals among the best?

Now that we've had about 10 months to let it digest...

What do you think? Was it one of the greatest game 7's of all time? I know most of us probably haven't seen more than a few, and here's a list of all the game 7's...

I wouldn't have thought there were going to be that many, as many were in the 60's and 70s.

What's crazy is look how close a lot of those games were.... 4 points, 7 points, 1 point, 2 points, 3 points, 2 points, 2 points, 6 points, 3 points, 6 points, 7 points.

I know 4 points is hard to swallow, but can you imagine an NBA Championship decided on ONE FRICKING POINT?

1955 Finals... Nationals/Pistons... 92-91 Nationals.

Last years game was amazing, something we hadn't seen in 5 years, and only twice in twenty years prior to last year..

just the fact that it went 7 games was amazing.

winning, as a laker fan, was pretty incredible. as a fan, coming back from a double digit deficit like that......was similar to the portland wcf comeback in 99-00.

losing that game, would have been devastating. it would have cemented the fact that the celtics were better, and the whole lakers getting revenge would never happen. and the current lakers team would probably be mentally destroyed.

I thought FOR SURE the Celtics had it, and even with like 2-3 minutes left, I was like there's no way they can mess this up.

cosign on everything (being a Celtics fan). I still say we would have won had Perkins not gone down but thats a different argument 

. I didn't watch the Spurs vs Pistons Game 7 and I was too young to remember the Rockets vs Knicks. But any Game 7 that went to atleast OT had to have been a thriller & there are 2 on that list ('57 & '62)

I still remember after game 5, I was in damn near in shock. I couldn't believe the Lakers would let the series go to the Celtics that quickly. Game 6 made things feel a lot better when the Lakers just imploded on the Celtics early and never looked back. Game 7 was the most nervous I have been for the Lakers in awhile. I was just panting back and forth in my living room the whole second half.

Couldn't even sit down for a beer I remembered. I was thinking  "this can't be happening again to the Celtics."
