Need denim suggestions

whats up NT. I don't know if there's a general discussion thread or not but I'm in need of some help. I've always had a hard time finding tapered jeans that fit correctly. I'm 6'4 about 225 and a 34 waist. My issue is I have squatters thighs and for the life of me I can't find tapered jeans that fit well. "Slim" jeans that I could wear won't fit my thighs if I get them in a 34 but if I get them in a 36 they're loose at the waist and lose the tapered effect at the bottom so the end up looking straight cut. This is especially the case with Levi's 511's. I like joggers and own some but they're not appropriate for every occasion. I know there are some denim gawds here on nt. Help me out with some reasonably priced options. I'm not picky when it comes to brands.

Have you tried the Levi's slim straight or regular taper cut? Levi's released a athletic cut some time last year. Roomier in the thighs with a slight taper. Give that a try.

I have the same issue. I have big thighs and calves. Challenging to find a pair of jeans that fit right.
