Need opinions

Ok so I need an opinion
I have a pair of crisp Nike penny 1’s in the N.Y. Knicks colorway .
I always like having hats to match my kicks so I’d like to buy a Mets hat to match since obviously they’re the same colors
But considering these were a Knicks colorway release , would it look stupid to pair with a totally different team / sport ?
Any negative comments will be ignored , I just truly need opinions
