My dog ate one of my Opana 60s (oxymorphone) about 20 mins ago while I was in the bathroom. The vet is closed in this small town and I dont have the $65 for the emergency vet hotline. PLEASE HELP MY BABY!!

you should be straight. when my pit was 3 months old she ate a handle that my friend dropped. she was trippin but she was back to normal the next day.

Im a Vet Tech, and do feel even though you cant afford the fee, pleae take your dog to the vet ASAP, they could work with you somehow on billing......
Its not approved for dogs but used as an "extra label drug" ( meaning could potentially be fatal, not enough studies to clear it as a SAFE to use drugs for pets by the FDA) and is used or prescribed at times for pets for pain, side affects are, labored breathing, vomiting, delayed neurological signs, sedation. Oxymorphone hydrochloride is a painkilling drug chemically similar to morphine, but 10 times more powerful. The MAXIMUM dose PER dog is 3mg.
