Well I was selling my shoes on Ebay and some guy made me an offer so I counteroffered with a price I would go with outside of Ebay and he accepted it instead of telling me ok we can do that and now Ebay charged me $49 even though we were going to deal outside of Ebay so I wouldn't get hit with any fees.

How do I retract his bid or something so I can get my fees back and we deal outside of Ebay?

Help is appreciated.

i really don't feel like helping you but ill do it anyway.

contact him before shipping the shoes once he pays and tell him that your only agreeing to that deal and price you counter offered him if he agrees to do it outside of ebay. if he's cool with that then tell him to paypal you but not through ebay and once he receives the shoes go on the agree to cancel transaction option on ebay and he'll agree to cancel it and you get your final value fees back.

That's the only way? I remember I accidently bid on something and won it and the seller told me like 5 minutes later it was a different size so he asked me to accept something so he wouldn't be charged and I did it.

that's what your going to be doing here. having the buyer accept the same thing that seller had you accept.

just contact the buyer and let him know the deal and that your offering him the price you offered him only if he were to deal out of ebay so that you both save.

it works for both sides so he shouldn't have any problem mutually agreeing to cancel the transaction once you explain it to him.

Alright, thanks. Let me do that then...cause we did agree on doing this outside of Paypal so we wouldn't deal with fees.

yea you'll be good then. hell $49 in final value fees, plus 4% more for paypal fees plus whatever your paying for shipping is a grip, all those fees add up.

Yeah that's what I'm saying $49 ebay fee then Paypal 4% then shipping... idk why he accepted it on there when I told him $535 outside of Paypal. I just sent a transaction cancellation notice to him and told him to send the $ to my Paypal acct and accept the cancellation.
