Saw this for the second time in years just a while ago and it's just as eye opening, amazing, depressing, and reflective of society as the first time around. Would say it's ahead of it's time but seeing as it came out in 1976 no surprise they saw it coming. More importantly the film is well written, from the monologues to the dialogues. The subplot within the film isn't anything to ignore either seeing as it all ties in to the main theme of the movie. It was really a beautiful work of art
And to be clear it's not just about the mass media controlling the world, minimizing the individual and exploiting the group. It applies on many scales to anything you allow others to dictate.
Anyway, just appreciate
