No.

Not when Dez run's a 4.4 and measures in @ ~6'3 210.

Plus he has more film of downfield plays and molesting DB's
dre what's good with Myron Rolle?
isn't he going to London or something w/ the Rhodes scholarship.. will he be back for the 2010 combine/draft?
London for one year. Where he will have access to olympic style facilities and trainers.

Will be in the 2010 draft/combine.
Surprised Rodney Hudson wasn't listed among Kipers top 5 guards
Not really surprised. Huddy is small and he might be moved to C (which could be his best position and get's him taken highest in the draft)

Blount better hope his rep for having a !%%@+! work ethic and attitude doesn't travel too far

LOL hes from my hometown kinda.. boy had world class speed... yes world class
ran a 10.3 hundred meters in the summer before his junior year of hs... he was roastin ##!@+% but hes soft and cant really catch, ppl been tellin this boy heshoulda jus went to PSU and been a derrick williams type... wonderin if hell ever see the field at FSU

He'll see the field. There's no doubt in my mind. He has no choice. We are thin @ CB.

He's just not a CB even though he has the hips/speed. He would do work @ WR.

I want to see him on returns. Because the boy is hell in the open field.

He %$+!!* himself over when he committed and then all that #$@% went down @ Pitt w/ the coaching situation.

I don't even rememeber, but how hard did PSU go after him?

word. i cant see him tacklin nobodyyyy... nobody big neway hah

i always saw him as a percy harvin type in college but i think FSU is jus the worst place for him, u guys gotta grip of wrs that r just as fast which is crazybut yea hes not smart... and by not smart i mean the kids mom was tyin his shoes till a year ago... so after he matures a lil i dunno the skys the limit iguess but im with u i dont think hes best suited for D at all... PSU backed off after they saw the grades/sat thats when pitt stepped in n all that went down

(Way early) 2010 NFL Mock Draft[/h1]
If Roger Goodell gets his wish, the draft will make its prime-timedebut next year. The big question is, will there be limits on rookie pay? Here's an absurdly early look at how the 2010 first roundcould shape up (*denotes underclassmen):

1. St. Louis Rams (trade with Lions on draft day)
*Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma

Lions will have the worst record, but can't afford another No. 1 overall. Teams will want to trade up for this QB, unlike the lack of interest inMatt Stafford. The only danger is critics will have a year to pick apart Bradford, who could have been No. 1 this year.

2. Oakland Raiders
*Eric Berry, SS, Tennessee

Will the new Raiders coach be able to talk Al Davis out of workout wonder Taylor Mays? This is very high for a safety, butBerry is special.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
*Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma

Tampa Bay's defense will really need help after its first full Monte Kiffin-less season.

4. Detroit Lions (trade with Rams on draft day)
Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State

They'll do anything to protect their investment in Matthew Stafford.

5. San Francisco 49ers
Taylor Mays, S, USC

Might as well cement all the comparisons to Ronnie Lott.

6. Jacksonville Jaguars
Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska

The disruptive Suh will help bring some bite back to this defense.

7. Cleveland Browns
Mark Herzlich, LB, Boston College

Or perhaps Sergio Kindle, who is slotted at No. 14.

8. New York Jets (via draft day trade with Chiefs)
*Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State

Assuming the Jets don't sign Plaxico Burress, new quarterbackMark Sanchez will need more help.

9. Cincinnati Bengals
*Arrelious Benn, WR, Illinois

How much longer can an unhappy Chad Johnson work in Cincy?

10. Green Bay Packers
Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma

The Packers need to make that big investment in Aaron Rodgers payoff.

11. Buffalo Bills
*Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa

The Bills could also look at receiver if the Terrell Owensexperiment doesn't work out.

12. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/nfl/teams/seahawks/Seattle Seahawks (via Broncos)
*Joe Haden, CB, Florida

The Seahawks will need more help running after the Cardinals' receivers.

13. Washington ********
Tim Tebow, QB, Florida

All it takes is for one team to fall in love with the chosen one. No owner develops crushes like Daniel Snyder, who will take Tebow 10picks too early. Tebow doesn't necessarily fit the mold of a Jim Zorn quarterback, but there could be a new coach in Washington by draftday if the ******** end up slotted at No. 13.

14. Kansas City Chiefs (via draft day trade with Jets)
Sergio Kindle, OLB, Texas

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Scott Pioli traded down even more in this draft to take control of the second round, like he usedto in New England. The Chiefs already have the Falcons' pick for the TonyGonzalez trade.

15. Minnesota Vikings
*Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida

He's 6-foot-6, 285 pounds and could go even higher if he dominates the 2009 season.

16. Atlanta Falcons
Terrence Cody, DT, Alabama

The Falcons did draft Peria Jerry, but coach MikeSmith could add more size on that defensive line. Cody has battled weight problems but slimmed down in the offseason.

17. Miami Dolphins
Brandon Spikes, LB, Florida

The hard-hitting LB has Bill Parcells written all over him. (That's assuming Parcells is still with the 'Fins.)

18. Seattle Seahawks
Greg Hardy, DE, Mississippi

If this seems too low a spot for a team that finished 4-12 last season, remember the Seahawks were decimated by injuries in 2008. Hardy's a big talentwho has attitude issues to address.

19. New Orleans Saints
*Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech

New Orleans failed to get a big back in this year's draft.

20. Baltimore Ravens
Brandon LaFell, WR, LSU

Baltimore's leading receiver, Derrick Mason, is 35.

21. Denver Broncos (via Bears)
Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri

jevan-snead-si.jpg

Quarterback Jevan Snead transferred to Ole Miss from Texas before the 2006 season.

Bill Frakes/SI
Denver will still be looking to shore up its defense.

22. Houston Texans
*Marvin Austin, DT, North Carolina

We've all heard this before, but this is the year the Texans break into the playoffs.

23. Dallas Cowboys
Trevard Lindley, CB, Kentucky

Tony Romo fails to get his first playoff win, which would havemoved the Cowboys further down in the first round.

24. Tennessee Titans
Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma

Or will Tennessee be looking for a quarterback here? We'll give VinceYoung the benefit of the doubt.

25. San Francisco 49ers (via Panthers)
*Jevan Snead, QB, Mississippi

Depending on who you talk to, Snead could be the No. 1 overall pick next year or fall out of the first round. Keep an eye on one of this year's mostinteresting prospects.

26. Arizona Cardinals
George Selvie, DE, South Florida

Will the Cardinals be looking for a QB as well? We'll also give MattLeinart the benefit of the doubt.

27. Indianapolis Colts
Brandon Lange, DE, Troy

The small-school product could be the Colts' next sack specialist.

28. Pittsburgh Steelers
Javier Arenas, CB, Alabama

Not a lot of immediate needs I can see for Pittsburgh, so it can take the best available talent.

29. New York Giants
*Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama

The Giants will likely need a burner at receiver, but McClain reportedly has looked scary during spring practice.

30. New England Patriots
C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson

If they don't trade out of the first round, they'll need a running back.

31. Philadelphia Eagles
Ciron Black, OT, LSU

Andy Reid gets back to his true passion next season, drafting offensive linemen.

32. San Diego Chargers
*DeMarco Murray, RB, Oklahoma

Chargers finally get over the hump in the playoffs.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writers/andrew_perloff/04/28/2010/index.html?eref=T1

No Everson Griffin? Damian Williams? Hopefully the Raiders get some Ws this year so they can't get eb.
And no way Dez goes ahead of Benn. Dez needs to up the competitive fire first. imo Benn is the best nfl wr prospect since Calvin Johnson ... andwhat happened to Brandon Warren? Is he really only 6'1 225 as listed on the ut site? Did he shrink? I guess that's why they got him listed asa wr now.

But four Gators in the 1st

Dez's speed & Athleticism will ultimately push him over Regis Benn

And I know I'm gonna sound like a hater....And hell, it may be true, but I just don't see how Joe Haden is the 1st CB off the board/Best CB in thenation.

I know it all depends on who has the selection, but Im sticking with Greg Hardy as the number one pick in next yrs NFL draft

Dez needs to up the competitive fire first. imo Benn is the best nfl wr prospect since Calvin Johnson

IMO Dez is the best WR prospect since CJ and Benn aint seein dez's Hands

Jevon Snead below tebow, I dunno. I think Snead is the perfect NFL QB.

Damian Williams?

Damian is going TOP 10.

Javier Arenas is liek 5'8, he gets hype cus hes a monster special team player him goin round one, nah. he gonna slide just like DJ Moore did.

Ya, but he ain't gonna slide ar far b/c he isn't gonna put up a 4.6 like DJ did.

Oh yeah, Jermaine Cunningham > Carlos Dunlap

I must have missed Arenas' first round quality DB skills...

The Timmy Teabag pick is almost too silly to even acknowledge...

Yea DLo Arenas aint half the cb DJ was, and I bet u $ Arenas runs no better than 4.5

I Don't see it neither, a few of these picks seem a lil over the top.

13. Washington ********
Tim Tebow, QB, Florida

Ahhhhhahahha at all the fuss about my boy Joe. Yeah I had to post this after dre's Mel and P Robinson post lol. But I def think Joe is a little overrated. He often times (too often) seems to be off balance. He is exceptional at covering big receivers, deep routes, good tackler, and physical but reallystruggles with short routes - slants. I guess that is common though. Our pash rush is not what is used to be so our cbs do have to put in work. And he was a qbin hs so he just learned how to play cb two years ago. I was very suprised to see Joe consistently rated so high in all the mocks but I guess I've seen himplay so much maybe I'm overly critical.
ohwell.gif

^And I agree about Janoris. He is already better than Joe. At that is considering he looks like a 12 yo out there at his size last year. Dude is one of thebest, imo the best, cb prospects at his age. He should slide to the #1 spot over Joe.
On a similar note, I wouldn't draft Carlos that high yet. His stock is all on potential. Any close Gator fan will tell you - dude lacks commitmentand not very competitive. And is a mute like Derrick Harvey lol. Gives up on a lot of plays - Simeon Rice clone. But has potential to be Freak 2. Hopefully hecomes around this year.

dreClark wrote:

Don't know about that but our DL is just overrated in general. Our DTs is the weakest point on the team, so Dunlap an JC often get an extrablocker. JC has a weak lower body and is pretty easy to block once you get your hands on him.
Our D is so good mainly because of Charlie Strong and Spikes.

Heres another oone from FOXSPORTS
smokin.gif

1. Detroit Lions - Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma, Junior: Though the Lions should win a few games and improve on both sides of the ball, Idon't see a Miami Dolphins-like turnaround in '09. Hamstrung with the financial obligations of the No. 1 overall pick again, they opt to take the bestdefensive tackle on the board in Oklahoma's McCoy.

2. St. Louis Rams - Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma, Junior: Mark Sanchez and Matt Stafford probably owe Bradford a couple million. Had he leftNorman early and entered the NFL Draft, he would have been the first or second quarterback taken in the 2009 Draft. St. Louis gets their signal caller of thefuture in the physically gifted Heisman winner. For Bradford's sake, let's hope he doesn't have a Matt Leinart/Brian Brohm-like fall down draftboards. Both Leinart and Brohm came back to school only to see their draft stocks go down in their final collegiate seasons. McCoy and Bradford are the firstcollege teammates to go one, two since Courtney Brown and LaVar Arrington did it in 2000.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State, Senior: The Bucs protect their 2009 investment at quarterback in Josh Freemanwith a fellow Big 12 superstar in Okung. The Oklahoma State big boy is the early odds-on favorite to be the first offensive tackle off the board nextApril.

4. Kansas City Chiefs - Tim Tebow, QB, Florida, Senior: The Matt Cassel era doesn't last long in K.C., as the Chiefs opt to not re-signthe high-priced gunslinger. Cassel goes into the free-agent pool, leaving a void at the quarterback position. Everyone knows the Kraft/Belichick/Pioli/Meyerconnection, and Pioli jumps at the chance to add Tebow to his squad.

5. San Francisco 49ers - Colt McCoy, QB, Texas, Senior: The sure-armed McCoy has that Mark Sanchez aura to him: confident, respected, beloved by teammates. The 4-year Texas starter gets the nod as the next in line to the 49ers quarterback gig. At 6-3, 210 lbs, McCoy has the height andexperience to be a first-year starter in the NFL. He'll throw to his one-time nemesis - the man who cost him a national title in '08 - Michael Crabtreefor years to come.

6. Oakland Raiders - Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma, Senior: Another Sooner flies off the board. The Raiders offense improves mightily in'09, but they're missing the stud left tackle of the future. Williams, a 6-5, 310 mountain with surprisingly good footwork, is the final piece in thefour-year Raider offense first-round rebuilding plan. Eric Berry's on the board, but Al Davis sticks to his guns with the unknown safety Oakland took inthe second round of '09, the mystery man himself - Ohio's Michael Mitchell.

7. Seattle Seahawks (via Denver Broncos) - Eric Berry, S, Tennessee, Junior: A safety drafted seventh overall? That's pretty darn high.Berry's pretty darn good. This pick comes in exchange for Alphonso Smith, Denver's second-round selection via Seattle in '09.
9514066_36_2.jpg
Eric Berry deserves to go in the top 10. (Kevin C. Cox / Getty Images)
8. Cleveland Browns - Terrence Cody, DT, Alabama, Senior: Cody's a beast. Shaun Rodgers has a solid enough year in Eric Mangini's3-4 defense, but the addition of Cody gives Cleveland more flexibility and beef up the gut. At 6-5, 360 pounds - he could be dominant. Or out of the league ina few years. Cleveland rolls the dice on the big fella.

9. Cincinnati Bengals - Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska, Senior: The Bengals were the beneficiaries of Rey Maualuga slipping all the way to thesecond round in Saturday's draft. They cash in on Suh, thought by many to be a top-5 selection for next year's draft, dipping to No. 9 in 2010.

10. Green Bay Packers - Jermaine Gresham, Oklahoma, TE, Senior: Boomer Sooner! The fourth Sooner drafted goes at No. 10, where AaronRodgers gets a giant pass-catching tight end who can block quite a bit, too.

11. Jacksonville Jaguars - Arrelious Benn, Illinois, WR, Junior: The Jags picked up a nice potential No. 2 guy in Jarrett Dillard and asolid No. 3 in Mike Thomas on Day 2 of the '09 Draft. They get their No. 1 in Benn in next year's first round.

12. New York Jets - Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida, Junior: Shaun Ellis can't play forever. Dunlap's a 6-5, 290-pound pass rusher. Ifhe has a breakout season, he can go this high or even higher.

13. Seattle Seahawks - Greg Hardy, DE, Ole Miss, Senior: The Seahawks pick up another young defender in Hardy, the fierce DE out of Oxford.Hardy had 8.5 sacks for the Rebels last year before injuring his foot and missing the final four games of the 2008 season.

14. Miami Dolphins - George Selvie, DE/OLB, South Florida, Senior: Joey Porter isn't getting any younger. The Dolphins beefed up theirdefensive back situation with Vontae Davis and Sean Smith in the '09 Draft. They crank it up on the pass rush with Selvie, the sack machine out of SouthFlorida in '10.

15. Atlanta Falcons - Brian Bulaga, OT, Iowa, Senior: After taking eight defensive players on Draft weekend '09, the Falcons take atackle to pair alongside Sam Baker at the OT spots in Atlanta. Baker stays at left tackle and Bulaga battles Tyson Clabo for the job manning the right.

16. Washington ******** - Jevan Snead, QB, Ole Miss, Senior: Colt McCoy's former understudy at Texas goes nine picks later to theRedskins. After another year of missing the postseason, Daniel Snyder pulls the trigger and drafts a quarterback in Snead.

17. Buffalo Bills - Taylor Mays, S, USC, Senior: There wasn't a single safety drafted in the first round in '09 and only one in'08 (Kenny Phillips). The improved Bills, with some other needs across the board, can't let the freakishly athletic Mays slip any further than here andscoop him up at 17.

18. Indianapolis Colts - Marvin Austin, DT, UNC, Junior: The Colts missing the playoffs? Roast me, if you must, but I think this is theyear the postseason streak comes to an end. The defense finally stops bending and breaks in Indy. Marvin Austin, the former No. 1 high school recruit, comesout early and gets snagged up by Bill Polian and co.

19. San Francisco 49ers (via Carolina) - Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers, Junior: Lots of Niners fans wanted Michael Oher with the No. 10 pickover wide receiver Michael Crabtree last weekend. With the 19th pick, courtesy of Carolina in the Everette Brown deal, San Fran grabs an offensive tackle tocomplement Joe Staley and protect their quarterback of the future, Colt McCoy. At 6-6, 330 pounds, Davis is a beast. He's raw but should be greatlyimproved in '09.

20. Houston Texans - Trevard Lindley, CB, Kentucky, Senior: Okay, okay. Yes, it's true. I have the Houston Texans - for the secondstraight year - as my big "sleeper" team and making the playoffs. So darn original, I know. But I really, truly believe this is the year it all comestogether for Houston and they get over the hump, making their first trip to the postseason ever. They're then quickly dispatched by the Chargers in thefirst round. They go defense AGAIN and upgrade at CB in the upcoming draft with Lindley.

21. Minnesota Vikings - Ciron Black, OT, LSU, Senior: An All-SEC performer in '08, Black is returning for his senior campaign in'09. Doing so likely ensures the 6-5 mauler a spot in the first round next season. Minnesota falls a win shy of the playoffs and looks to find a stud OTfor the future. Whether Brad Childress is there to coach him is a whole other story.

22. Denver Broncos (via Chicago Bears) - Mark Herzlich, LB, Boston College, Senior: The Bears make the playoffs in Cutler's first year, but the Broncos get the rights to the 22nd pick in the Cutler trade. Herzlich, an athletic OLB out of BC, will be one of those immediate-impact guys for thelistless Denver D.

23. Baltimore Ravens - Brandon LaFell, WR, LSU, Senior: The Ravens squeak out another wild card spot in '09 and grab Joe Flacco'snew go-to No. 1 guy in LaFell in next year's draft. LaFell's a personality. He's been known to run his mouth and shoot straight from the hip. He's also got a great set of hands and a blazing set of wheels.
9514250_36_2.jpg
Could Brandon LaFell end up in Baltimore? (Doug Benc / Getty Images)
24. Philadelphia Eagles - Sergio Kindle, LB, Texas, Senior: The Eagles load up on another defensive talent in Kindle, the 10 sack man forTexas in '08. Brian Orakpo got all the press last year; Kindle will get all the love in '09.

25. Arizona Cardinals - Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri, Senior: Along with Ziggy Hood and D.J. Moore, Weatherspoon's been thedefensive leader of the Mizzou defense the past few seasons. After a solid '09 campaign, he joins the Arizona defense in next year's draft. Yes,Seahawks fans, that's the defending NFC West champion Cardinals.

26. New Orleans Saints - Brandon Spikes, LB, Florida, Senior: After winning their first division crown in three years, the Saints return tothe playoffs before falling to New York on a Saturday night divisional round playoff game in January. New Orleans reloads yet again on the defensive side ofthe ball, still the team's Achilles Heel, next year. Spikes is going to be a Butkus Award finalist in '09 and should be a first round pick in'10.

27. Tennessee Titans - Vince Oghobaase, DT, Duke, Senior: Duke?! Really? Well, yes. Oghobaase is a clog in the middle who gave ACC teamsfits last year. Well, relatively speaking. After all, he does play for Duke. Oghobaase's been Duke's best player for the past few seasons and has abright NFL future. Tennessee defends its AFC South title but falls just short in the playoffs, yet again.

28. Dallas Cowboys - Damian Williams, WR, USC, Junior: Tony Romo gets over his playoff-itis and the Cowboys manage to win their firstplayoff game in 13 years, knocking off the Eagles in Dallas' new stadium, a.k.a. Jerry World. After falling to the Giants at home for the second time inthree years, Jerry Jones dips back into that Arkansas bag of tricks and grabs the former Razorback wideout Williams next April.

29. San Diego Chargers - Dez Bryant, WR/KR, Oklahoma State, Junior: After giving Houston a lesson on playoff football, the Chargers get thedoors blown off them in a divisional round battle in Pittsburgh yet again in '09. Bryant, several pundits' preseason pick for the Biletnikoff award asthe nation's top receiver, is currently recovering from January knee surgery. If fully recovered, he'll be a Heisman candidate and an all-worldperformer for Oklahoma State in '09. He'll then leave school early and be a first-round pick in '10.

30. Pittsburgh Steelers - Javier Arenas, CB, Alabama, Senior: The Steelers manhandle teams all season long before losing yet another AFCChampionship Game vs. New England at the end of January. Though only 5-9, Arenas is a solid cover corner with good speed. There's talk on the 'Bamablogs of Arenas getting some time at safety in '09, which only makes him more appealing to scouts at the next level.

31. New York Giants - Crezdon Butler, CB, Clemson, Senior: The Giants return to the Super Bowl despite question marks at the wideoutposition plaguing them all season long. The stout defense wills the team to playoff victories down the stretch over Chicago and New Orleans and rookies HakeemNicks and Ramses Barden each come into their own in the playoffs. After New York knocks off Dallas in a bloodbath of an NFC Championship Game, they fall shortin a Super Bowl XLII rematch with the Patriots. Okay, okay - enough with the crystal ball, Peter. The Giants grab Butler, the physical corner out of Clemsonlate in the first round, adding depth to the position.

32. New England Patriots - Jahvid Best, RB, California, Junior: After the Patriots get their revenge on the Giants from Super Bowl XLII andknock off New York in Miami, the Patriots enter the off-season with a look toward the future. They go with Best, the do-everything junior back out of Cal whomay just steal the Heisman from Tebow, Bradford, and McCoy in '09.

Please no... dear god dont let this happen...

The cowboys will not beat the eagles in the playoffs.

Yeah bro, Tebow takes super long to make his reads/decisions. And by that I mean I cannot name another qb that 'takes histime' as much as Tebow does. That is his biggest problem. Think Peyton Manning^(-1). And I think it's more of a personality/gene/chronic problem that Idon't see him improving on. He def won't be an effective passer in the L as it is now. But our qb coach is changing all his mechanics so maybehe'll change.
