I had such high hopes for this song/album, but judging the first song... I feel it's gonna be horrible.  The new song is just mad annoying and sounds nothing like what I'm used to hearing from them.  I hope the rest of the album is better than this crap.. make some more songs like "New Divide."

And no, Hybrid Theory and Meteora were both awesome albums.. I don't know how anyone can hate on those albums... they were the only "nu-metal" band I could really stand during the time all those bands were out. This new stuff is just annoying trance-happy BS. I know bands 'evolve' and change up their sound, but this crap just doesn't fit them.

i think they gave into pressure from the rock community... a lot of people were sayin they werent real rock and !@+! like that... they shoulda just kept doin them...

I think if Mike would have rapped on this song it would have been very much their sound. What's really ruined them recently is they gave up the Hip Hop part of their sound and that's what always made them great. The last album would have been amazing had Mike rapped on it more. And I know he can still be a good MC because Fort Minor project was great. One of my most listened to Hip Hop albums of the 2000's. I mean they are still a group I will always check for and this new song is actually pretty good but it's not nearly the sound of their first two albums that made them so incredible. But hopefully this album will bring back more of that original LP sound. Just have to wait and see.
