Traditional War Cry by the 2/1 RNZIR Battalion. This vs. Gun Salute..What say u

I hope i'm dead when the next world war breaks out.

That sort of intensity is incredible.

I got shivers watching that! :smokin Man I miss Hawaii.

My uncle was C.O in Hawaii and use to tell me stories of when the inmates use to do the Haka, all the white and black inmates got scared.

LOVE the Haka! I spent about half a day watching videos of the All Black's doing it before their matches.

This was truly awesome though. The respect for their fallen comrade & the emotion of uniformed military is great to see.

I'm not going to pick one over the other. Taps during the gun salute has its own unique emotions involved

They even did this for the Viggo Mortensen in Lord Of The Rings since it was filmed in New Zealand and most of the stunt men were from there.

Respect.

Somehow this seems to show more emotion, a truer sense of loss than a gun salute or something more european in origin.

powerful stuff man.. :smokin

reminds me of when i still lived in Long Beach, went to high school and played football with alot of Polynesians
