I was having a discussion about this with some people. Which active player will join the club or which one has the best chance to do it.
A lot people are going with David Wright.

I really think that the next player to join the club will be.....

Utley

or

Sizemore

Grady aint gona ever hit 40HR..unfortunately.

I don't see anyone doin it soon..

I'd go with Hanley though

Chase Utley????

40 hr and 40 doubles maybe, but 40 steals

how about Hanley Ramirez or Brandon Phillips on a career year.

Chase Utley? 40 SB's? no.

Hanley has the best shot at doing it.

other guys with outside shots at doing it:

Eric Byrnes
Alex Rodriquez
Jimmy Rollins
David Wright
Brandon Philips

Soriano has done it before.

I always thought Beltran coulda done it... Now I'd prolly have to go with Hanley. But even then, I'm not sure if he could belt 40 out.

hanley
the uptons
soriano will do it again (i made a bet that he would do 50/50 before his career is over, lol)

Hanley will be there soon...David Wright is definitely a strong candidate as well.

I can see Phillips or Rollins getting close if they catch fire at the plate...there's a big difference between 30 and 40 bombs though.

Justin Upton isn't stealing bases right now, but the speed is there...scouts call him an elite 5-tool player for a reason.

16 posts and none of you have listed the guy that has the best chance.

He's walking more this season, so his SB total should increase (last year he had 27 steals) as his OBP increases (last year he only had a .295 OBP).

Carl Crawford ain't seein no part of 25 or 30 HRs... Much less 40.

Alfonso Soriano
Hanley Ramirez
BJ Upton
Chris Young
