nick foles?
5-1 as a starter.. 18 total tds (2 rushing).. 0 ints.. 1,554 passing yards.. has the highest passer rating with 128 (manning is next with 118.3).. and yards per attempt at 9.59 (rodgers is next at 8.84)
EDIT:
considering what is said below, foles is 2nd in QBR with 78.2 (manning is first)

Saying QBR is a flawed stat just seems to be the cool thing to do. Most people who hold that position dont really have a real reason as to why they say it.....and if they do, they certainly havent shared it with anyone.
i'm not saying he is the MVP.. but if he continues to put up numbers like he has (and we continue to win games), then shouldnt he at least be considered?Nick Foles as MVP? Come on now. He's played just over half of the team's games, and not all of those limited performances were good ones.nick foles?

I fought the urge to just post "" and mock you for that statement.

we're 1-4 in the games he hasnt started
he has played in 2 other games aside from the ones he has started.. he attempted a pass in the chargers game.. and 5 at the end of that broncos massacre
Besides Peyton who are the MVP candidates right now?
Oooh this will be fun...
My Top 5:
--Peyton Manning
--LeSean McCoy
--Jamaal Charles
--Drew Brees
--Russell Wilson
i'm with you.. i'm not even sold on him being our long term solution at QB YET..
people hate information, i don't get it.
do you know how passer rating is calculated, you know how flawed that is?
I don't like all that clutch stuff that's baked into QBR, but doesn;t mean you throw the baby out with the bath water.
Well that's biggest problem with if put up a few numbers in 4th quarter in a blowout lost your qbr sky rockets
I do like the rushing aspect of the qbr but until that 4th quarter stuff is adjusted I can't mess with qbr
Foles ain't winning no goddam MVP
if the eagles continue to win.. and he continues to put up numbers..Foles ain't winning no goddam MVP

no its the opposite, QBR, gives greater weight to statistics that come in close games, high pressure situations. I agree with it on a micro level converting 3rd and longs should be given more weight. I'm not sure I agree with that interms of close score games, I generally don't believe in clutch in any sport other than basketball.
Infact im pretty sure historically the most consistent indicator of playoff success ISN'T winning close games, its blowing out bad teams.
I am a casual football fan, with no real favourite (I just root for black QB's) so I have a outsiders perspective, but I'm sorry passer rating is arbitrary nonsense, and anything is better than that.
any one number rating system in a sport like football is going to be flawed, but ti deosn;'t meant that people shouldn't try...
Clutch can't be quantified in any sport. It's a silly thing people use to ramp up players value.
If your really good when the game is on the line what do you call that?
I'm not saying its the most important thing but it does matter.
