If I'm the Texans, I'm trading that #1 pick and signing Vick or Sanchez (even though I think he sucks). I don't think Bridgewater is worth a #1 pick. I like what I've seen but i'm not sold. Manziel isn't even an option to me. I wouldn't draft him in the fifth round if he was around.

Then they're in the Schaub situation all over again. They need to get a franchise QB now that they are lucky enough to have a shot. They really have the pieces to make Bridgewater comfortable very quickly.

I don't like Bridgewater enough to pick first and start the season. I could be wrong. I was never a Schaub fan and the draft/free agency this year is very weak for QBs. Maybe offer that first rd pick to Pitts for Ben or another decent QB out there then.

Anyone else wonder why Shady doesn't fumble more?

He holds the ball like he's playin 2 hand touch.

McCoy is like James Starks to me with their running style. (Not comparing talent obviously)

They hold the ball out there and there movements are so shaky but McCoy does it while being ridiculously smooth though. Ive always said James Starks runs the ball like he would be a high school football player in a movie named, boobie, shakes, or laces. Same with Shady who I just now realized already has a nickname that would work in said movie.

I'm not sold at all on Teddy being the #1 pick but the Texans seem to be a pretty good fit for him. If he's the player that people think he is then he should be really good with Andre, Hopkins, Foster and Daniels. Signing Sanchez or Vick would be a terrible look for them after they just got done with Schaub.

Large hands, very good at avoiding contact and doesn't spend time fighting for extra yardage?

In other words, he's just special :hat

I won't deny that. I also like him, he really seems like a nice guy. I met him briefly back in like late August at an event with Big Brothers Big Sisters, he stopped by and talked with us for a little while.

I don't agree with the signing of Vick or Sanchez :x :{ or someone stop Gap QB to hold onto a spot and set up BOB for failure.

That's another year wasted of Browns, Cush, Fosters, Dre, Watts Career,..

And for what? To maybe fight for a playoff spot and get bounced by a primer QB led team?

Then pick in the teens / twenties out of range for a high pick?

Take Teddy or Johnny and be done with it.

Esp in this day and age of the new CBA where getting the first overall pick and missing isn't crippling to a franchise ( Sam Bradford ).

I think McNair just put that out there to see if anyone's willing to give up the house for the first.

3 first rounders? .... Do it .... Maybe :\

I agree, having a first round pick bust isn't as bad as it used to be. It might be worth rolling the dice. Either way, I see Houston struggling next year with a bad QB.

I also don't see ANYONE trading for the first pick because of how bad the deal ended up being for the Re dskins and how bad the QB class is of this draft.

The RG3 and Julio trades are going to make teams scared for a long time to trade up to the top of the draft.

Never knew shady was gonna be this nice. Kicked it with him many times before he decided to pick Pitt. His older brother had no clue he was that nice either before heading to Pitt. Kid plays like he's in the backyard.

I'm excited to see JC today, hopefully Alex does just enough to get by.

signing vick or sanchez would be pointless. it's a year wasted. also, don't know why you "wouldn't take manziel even in the 5th round". he's been arguably the best quarterback in college the last 2 seasons, i don't see why he isn't even an option to you.

Ditka :lol it may be time for him to retire

Everybody is talking about Saints Eagles

He's talking about Dontari Poe, and Giants vs Eagles

Your options at QB are so limited. Whether its the draft or free agency. I personally, wouldn't use a first pick on Bridge but that's just me. He might end up being a star or a dud.

So the two Texan fans in here, you want Bridge with that first pick?
