I still remember the week of the Super Bowl dudes in here were saying Seattle better change up that defense because Manning was gonna come carve them up.

He had 2 weeks and blah blah blah.

So many people were saying that. Not even on here... friends/tv/radio... I heard that a lot...

I bet on Seattle to win because I thought they would but definitely didn't think it'd be 43-8.

that was just total domination.

you mean "fans". any real broncos fan would not say that. what you hope and keeping it real are 2 different things. i felt the defense was their week point but seattle beat denver in every part of that game. its comical to say it was peytons fault. the broncos got their *** handed to them as a team offense, defense, and special teams. seattle was the better team.

I was talking about his first 3 Super Bowl rosters

I was going to bring up Bobby Humphrey who rushed for 1000+ yards in 89 and Vance Johnson who had 1000 yards receiving but it was pointless because other than those two you were mostly correct on his offense in the 80s.

I just looked at Elway's 89 stats.....disgusting. They were horrendous for a QB of his caliber. We can just chalk that up to him not having a team though....right?

Best part of the victory was all the so called experts trying to back pedal and not look stupid.

There y'all go again with the preseason picks. I remember us being picked last by everybody on NT and sports pro and ATL wining the division.

How did that work out?

What team in the NFC south has won the div in consecutive years ?

Terry's comments were true and really not a big deal at all. Classic social media overreaction. If that's considered 'trolling' then we have very different definitions of the word

One of the best big game QBs there ever was :smokin

I know I would argue all day defending Peyton. Really can't do that now. Not after that Super Bowl, even though I don't put it in him.

Honestly after that center hiked that ball over his head it was OVER. Pretty much put Rocket Fuel in that young defense engine after that. That was all they needed.

A lot of those playoff losses were him playing like **** and to me he was shell shocked. Losing to the Pats in 03 (that pick to Marcus Pollard was a killer man), Chargers those couple games (especially in 07, I wanted to see the undefeated Pats face us in the AFC Championship game), and losing to the Steelers.

And look at our championship year, in 06. If the defense didnt play the way they did we would have gotten bumped off by KC and if we just scraped by them, definitely by the Ravens.

The stress Peyton has put me through was so much. lol

But he did finally make us into contenders so I cant be mad about that. And I am very appreciative even though there were a lot of bad playoff losses, at least we got there after years of suffering. Before all we had were a couple good years from Harbaugh. Should have went to the Superbowl that year. Damn Kordell was out of bounds!! :{

I just dont understand why in a lot of these games, Peyton turned into a shell of himself that he was during the regular season. Oh well. Its just something you accept after a while.

@Cedric Ceballos IMO to beat Seattle, your QB has to be able to bail when there is nothing there. Or be able to buy some time in the pocket. Those guys just bottle up everyone.

The way they played was ultra conservative

They wanted to run the ball a lot and play great defense

The Broncos ran on 1st and 2nd down and then would routinely put Elway in 3 and longs and tell him to make a play for them

Sometimes Elway did, Sometimes he didn't

The way his team played was way different than Montana, Marino, Moon and Kelly

The 1989 Broncos basically played Marty Ball

I've been guilty of this in the past, but when y'all stop taking everything everyone says negatively about your team on here so personally, you'll feel a lot better. Remember, it's just another man's opinion

And it's Terry Bradshaw, dude is almost never serous :lol

Internet mob and misinformation. Sigh

Right dudes really be in their feelings

Peyton has a career of playoff chokes and his title came against Rex Grossman right? :rollin

While Peyton has choked a few times I will never understand this "He beat Rex Grossman" argument. It's not like you pick which team you play in the SB. You play whoever gets there. They don't give you half a ring cuz the other QB was a bum. :lol

The NFC South is not the best division in football

Makes no sense considering the fact that the Saints and Falcons can't be trusted on the road
