As a soldier I like the Army uni's (would prefer them not to use the word combat, but whatever), but I think the AF Academy uniforms were better.  And yeah, service academy games are never fun to watch, unless you attended one of them.

^I can dig that. Just hope when we switch from the ACU digital pattern, to the MultiCam, Nike doesn't use that for a uniform.

And by far the most interesting thing to me, check out the custom field turf plate on Polamalu's speeds. I wonder if this is a prototype of some sort.. and if it is, they must be decent for him to lace them up for a game. Maybe we'll be seeing more of these in the near future.

polamalus speeds have a new plate that nike is trying to incorporate into their cleats. it is much lighter than the current td plate and offers more traction

Those plates Polamalu's got on remind me of the old baseball cleats (Turntec, I think).  Cleat pattern was in a circle to minimize leg injuries when pivoting, as well as making pivoting easier while maintaining traction.

^^^ He's wearing Nike's new glove, the Tracer I think its called. They have the new all purpose/all weather grip on the palm that I love because they remind me of cutters grip. I've been wearing them for weeks for practice and games and the grip is amazing.
