NFL Regular Season Thread 2019-2020: The Brazen Bahamian Battles Over Eli’s Legacy Til He’s Blue In The Face

Glad Zeke got paid. Good for him.

But stupid from a business perspective. There’s a reason the Pat’s haven’t made a deal like that to a position player in their run. It’s stupid because they’re so expendable. Rinse, recycle, repeat. Invest in the trench boys and you good

Yes.

Just compare every NFL team to the dynasty that has the greatest coach and QB of all time

Goff and McVay been suspect since the Falcons came to their crib during Wild Card '18 and bent them over

AB is def a sideshow, and it's not going to end well in Oakland for them more than likely at this rate.

But we all knew this, Oakland didn't sign him to be a great locker room guy, they paid him for production, and over the last couple years nobody has been as productive as him.

It's like ****ing with a joint, and knowing she ain't **** and not good for you, but you always wondering how long you going to keep dealing with her crazy ***, just cause she got the fire top.

Why would AB post that on social media for everyone to see? Lol

Some things are better left off IG and twitter

AB lives in his own world and follows his own rules, word to FB live streaming the locker room right after a playoff game :lol:

Can't wait for him and Gruden to reach a boiling point, got it happening before week 8

This is why so many teams get played and burned when trying to hire Hoody disciple and TB backups hoping for the greatness to rub off on them

Can't replicate what's never been done beforeand likely won't ever be done again

you can use principles of what the pats do.. but you cant try to replicate it to the T or get it to rub off on your team because so much of it is hoodie and brady

but hell, hoodie uses his former people in other spots to his benefit.. either by getting value to get guys from in house.. or having them go to other AFC teams and gut those teams

that's why you should hit up the andy reid tree

Basketball has 12ish total people on the entire team.

They can afford to play the 2-3 players huge contracts and the rest good ones. Can’t do that in the NFL, although the players union needs to figure out how to get GTD. up to 80% of contract with the additional 20% being “bonus” or a type of STIP.

Anything less they’d be beyond stupid.

Also they signed him AND Gruden to sell something to Vegas in 2020. They needed some star power and now they got the 2 biggest egos and 2 of the biggest "stars" in the league.

AB was doing all this **** with the Steelers but they just tolerated it and kept it quiet.

I know the locker room in Pittsburgh gotta be happy as hell he’s gone.

Can’t forget the 82 game scheduled, compared to 16. People just lack common sense.

“Baseball players and NBA players make wayyyyyy more than NFL players!”

Well, 162 and 82 games, compared to 16. The NFL builds more revenue but has like 60 players (including practice squads). NBA has 12-15, MLB has like 20-25.

If the new CBA doesn’t involve guaranteed contracts, I can’t feel sorry for NFL guys. They’ve got to make changes
