[h3]The moves as Dolphins roster heads to 53So here's the list of moves so far today:[/h3]
The Dolphins have cut ILB William Kershaw, DE Rodrique Wright, CB Joey Thomas, WR Brandon London, S Courtney Bryan, OL Brandon Frye.

OLB Matt Roth has been placed on Reserve Non-Football Injury list. NFI means Roth does not count toward the 53-man roster now. He must sit out until Week 6, after which he gets a three-week window during which he can be activated. If he isn't ready within the span of that window, Roth will have to miss the remainder of the season.

The Dolphins have not released a complete list of cuts yet. They must get down to the 53 man roster by 6 p.m. this evening. The team needed to make 13 moves today. The above is six moves shy of the necessary total.

That means guys at practice today will be cut, which is business and cold and necessary.


I'm not sure about other teams so plz post your teams cuts and practice squad additions

Even Marshawn Lynch's suspension couldn't get Dominic Rhodes on Buffalo's opening roster.

The former Colt, who was expected to provide a veteran presence behind Fred Jackson while Lynch missed the first three games of the season, was released by the Bills Saturday, according to Fox's Alex Marvez.

Xavier Omon is set up to be the team's third running back after Rhodes' release and will likely get carries in the first three games of the season.

The Cleveland Browns cut former Baltimore Ravens cornerback Corey Ivy, a somewhat surprising move, according to a league source.

Ivy could be in demand as a veteran nickel back and special-teams guy. The vested veteran is now an unrestricted free agent.

Per our source, the Browns have also cut running back Noah Herron.






An NFL source has told Scout.com that linebacker Beau Bell will be released by the Cleveland Browns today.

The second-year player appeared in four games during his rookie season in Cleveland and contributed primarily on special teams. During the Browns' seventh game at Jacksonville, he forced a fumble on kickoff returns coverage that set up the team for a field goal. Bell sustained a knee injury late in the season and landed on Injured Reserve.

The 6-foot-1, 250-pound linebacker was the team's fourth-round selection in the 2008 NFL Draft out of UNLV. During his college career he logged 320 tackles, second-best in school history.
