None of them dudes have less. They all have a a better defense and run game than the Panthers. The one team you
could maybe argue are the Browns and they have one win as well. Reach.

Can only speak for the Skins...but the Panthers have a better defense???? REALLY?

RGIII got more on his shoulders (and arguably) less weapons than anyone on that list not named Tannehill.

I said the Panthers have the worst defense out of the bunch. Unless you meant to ask and say the Skins' defense. Yesterday
aside because the Panthers defense played well and the Skins' let Cruz go by for the crucial game winner there isn't much difference between
them. Except that the Skins at leat generate defensive scores (5) and intereptions (10 with at least 1 in every game).

We saw it during the Giants game too
ohwell.gif
dude in the corner with a towel over his head. But I guess your right to an extent.
yea your right...dude does have a way of sulking...im not denying that at all..im denying the effect people think his sulking has on the panthers record...he sulks, then goes out there and balls hard the next series...it has no effect on his play at all...

dude should learn from jay z , ' never let em see you frown, even smile when your down '

ill admit he can handle the low's a little better, but aint no denying that dude is a baller...when they put a legit squad around him, its curtains....

Texans
- :{ The ending of the Bucs/Saints. Refs essentially making up rules to keep the Saints from being buried.
.

Yea OK

From Rule 8, Section 1, Article 8 of the NFL's official rule book:
Illegal Touching of a Forward Pass. It is a foul for illegal touching if a forward pass (legal or illegal), thrown from behind the line of scrimmage:

(a) is first touched intentionally or is caught by an ineligible offensive player; or

(b) first touches or is caught by an eligible receiver who has gone out of bounds, either of his own volition or by being legally forced out of bounds, and has re-established himself inbounds.

my bad bro...misread.

Reading on Twitter that the Panther GM was working on a deal to bring S-Jax in for 2 first rounders? That has GOT to be a joke right? I'd fire him for that alone, ****. :lol

But if that was viable, the Rams would have 1's FOR DAYS after their trade with the Skins, and then the Panthers. Oh my GOD that would be incredible.

I forgot to mention Josh Gordon, he has been an awesome piece for Cleveland, and I loved the way he said it flat out yesterday, no sun, nothin, I dropped it, this game is on me. That's outstanding stuff from a rook. :smokin
How the hell they gonna get someone to come in tho, they have plenty of nice pieces for a core, but a 29 year old rookie QB. :smh

I didn't mean they were literally making up rules on the spot. I meant pulling out rules that a lot of the players (and maybe even the coaches) may not know. If you have to frantically go to the rule book to explain a call, it's pretty obvious that it is rare/uncommon. (Re: Seahawks/Packers Touchception)

So now find me the rule that Williams being pushed out of bounds is / was legal ?

youre way wrong.

the push out of bounds was Very Legal.
once a QB gets out the pocket, there is no longer illegal contact because the defender has to be able to defeat blocks from Wide receivers.

that was Not a flag

Kinda upset at Schiano for not knowing the rules in 2 different instances.

the defense calling out signals to imitate a snap count and causing a shift cost the Bucs a 15 yard penalty on a 4th down fg attempt

Even though the QB is behind the LOS? This makes no sense :lol so basically once the QB leaves the pocket DBs can grab WRs? Even though the QB is behind the LOS and hasn't become a runner yet? I've never seen that :lol

no option for big ben in the poll? dude is up there in most comeback winning drives.

steelers finally looked solid after that terrible start. injuries are killer, but i think the team's going to start getting it together.

only watched the first half of the panthers game but I got highly annoyed by cam doing the rob van dam point to the back of his jersey after a ******g 1st down....i'm like god damn your team is 1-4 get over yourself /rant

edit: and that pick he threw to claiborne was the dumbest **** ever....

could've been done watching Vincent Jackson run for a 80 yard TD? Taxes, Mowing the front yard, Heart surgery...

-Cam Newton's presser - damn. I'm sure Steve Smith is going to talk to him again.
what postion is smith in to talk to cam? because he is a vet? dude is a hot head and had problems himself. its not like smith has played good ball this year to even call out his QB

:rollin

He's a captain. And that's what they do. His body language in the presser was pointed out on NFL Network and NBC.

.....because he's the best player on the team not named Cam Newton, he's TEAM veteran, and a captain.

Both of these "rules" are ******g stupid.

Lost in all of this, Freeman threw for 420 yards and 3 TD's (should have been 5) and has had two very good games in a row. Regardless of the defense he was facing, it was a very good performance.

And V-Jax had been fighting a calf strain all week in practices, that's why he was ran down like that. He's usually pretty fast.

That Gmen schedule.
sick.gif

And people always wonder why they go 9-7 all the time and then wreck **** in the playoffs...

smith is the same guy that would ***** and cry on the sidelines when he wouldnt get the ball. WHEN THE PANTHERS would win games. ya let him put cam in check.
I just want that dude to stop celebrating 1st downs when his team can't score the ball or TD's when his team is down 20 points. I'm an advocate of his but I'm embarrassed for him when he does that
mean.gif
. Just opening the door for people..
but thats him tho so why change it? i dont hear anyone *****ing when tebow got a 1st down and does all that crap and his team was down big. you got guys scoring late in games in blowouts and they still celebrate there touchdown.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!

Texans
-went from being labeled as frauds, to flat out dominating the team who appeared to be the class of the AFC
-this wasn't about their defense being hurt, it was our defense shutting their offense completely down.
-the ravens had 12 offensive drives, only 3 of them lasted over 1:30.
-7 of those 12 drives were 3 plays or less.
-the texans won the yardage battle 420 to 176. won the time of possession 38 minutes to 22 minutes.
-JJ Watt has 10 batted balls and 4 of them have turned into interceptions. DPOY.
-held flacco to the worst QBR ever, 0.3.
-4 offensive touchdowns, 1 defensive, a safety, and a couple field goals. domination.

Rest of the league
-this is what eli does. rg3 continues to impress as well.
-panthers loss isn't only on cam. that coaching staff sucks. thought they got jobbed at the end on a PI call, but that's how football goes. props to the cowboys for closing it out.
-NE's defense is a problem, and not a good one. came up with a big play to end the game though. tuck the ball away, mark.

feeling lazy so i'm done for now but i'll keep checking up on this thread

Have there been instances of Steve Smith complaining since Cam has been his QB? I don't give a **** about his past. It's all about what he's doing NOW. He's a leader of the team and if someone can get in Cam's ear, then they need to do it. His body language on top of all of the other **** he does that Allen pointed out doesn't look good.

Another thing...JUST because other guys are doing it we should excuse Cam? C'mon now. What type of foolish logic is that? I've defended Cam plenty and I still will...but when the criticism is warranted, let's not act like Cam is above all of it.

2 more things real quick.

what the hell was going on between ahmad bradshaw and everyone else? :lol why was he so mad?

and secondly, does any player in NFL history get more pumped about 3 yard runs up the middle than Tim Tebow?
